There is NO doubt about about it, they are around and also share a strong alliance with the neo-Nazis.
They are often associated with what remains of the Dixie-crats.
It MUST be noted that American Christians rail against the activities of BOTH groups and demand legal actions whenever possible to suppress them into powerlessness.
THAT separates Christianity from Islam where terrorists meet with little or no resistance.

Groups that openly promote hate, such as but not limited to the KKK, continue to exist, but I would suggest that they're not actually as insidiously damaging as racism that takes on less extreme (and therefore harder to pinpoint) forms: racist or xenophobic schoolteachers/principals, elected officials, Realtors, employers, neighbors, etc. What I'm getting at is that in the long run they arguably do more harm than people who are overtly hateful (not that I'm in any way defending the latter, for the sake of disclosure...)

They've been overtaken by a number of other Neo-Nazi groups such as the Aryan Brotherhood and the PENI.

Yes, they are all around. They are just not as pro-active as they've been in the past. If they want to make a point, you'll know it.

Interesting, a British friend of mine asked me this very question only Yesterday....... I said that they very much existed. Most have sent their sheets to be laundered and is hidden in the bottom of their drawers, but still very much there and are waiting for any opportunity, like Obama being elected, to bring it out and start finding Oak trees once again.
