like, if you kidnapped someone, strapped him to a lazy-boy and attached jumper cables to his skull and let her rip.
Should that be legal or no?

Even though I hate all of the candidates I would have to say Ron Paul because he was the most forthcoming on his positions and he wasn't afraid to break free of the right-wing ignorance that polluted that stage.

If christians are mainly the only ones wanting to ban homosexual marraige and the government makes a law, wouldn't that be going against the first amendment. for the first amendment states, regarding religion, that the Government may not make any law respecting any religious establishment. So if the Government makes a law banning same sex marraiges wouldn't they be respecting the christian religion?

How do I break up with him.Should I be afraid? What should I do about this?I tried to break up again just now!?
I met a man online in June of this year.We started out fine...but slowly..things have changed.Alot of it is my fault.I have told him four times since June that we are not good for one another. Then he starts saying things like " But we love each other!" "I love you!" "You love me, lets work this out!" Then I start to feel bad and sad...and so..I stay.I noticed that he has a BAAAD temper. He got angry a few weeks ago and punched the wall.
We got into an argument at a resturaunt and he said to me " You are acting like such a ****!" ) :
Last week I decided to just ignore his calls.I thought that he would just give up and leave me alone.I was hoping that maybe he would just meet a really BEAUTIFUL woman and forget about me. I did not answer his calls for three days.He ended up Googleing my street address and got directions. He was at my door ringing the doorbell. He was saying " Sweetie where have you been I have been so worried. I thoughtr something happened to you!" I feel sooo bad.

MOUNT HOLLY — A Pemberton Township man was in the country illegally and free on bail in another case when he wounded his ex-girlfriend and killed her boyfriend Saturday, a prosecutor said.

Jesus A. Avila, 22, a native of Mexico who now lives on Kinsley Road in Pemberton Township, shot Gilbert Parra and the 17-year-old girl outside a house on Washington Avenue in Burlington City, said James A. Ronca, deputy first assistant Burlington County prosecutor.

Ronca said Avila was in the United States illegally, but he did not know how long the suspect has been in the country.

Ronca said Avila killed Parra while free on $5,000 bail for creating a false public alarm. Ronca did not know the circumstances surrounding the charge, but state law says the charge can be filed against someone who initiates or circulates a false warning about a fire, a bomb or a similar emergency.

A judge yesterday kept Avila's bail at $1 million during the suspect's first court appearance since his arrest Saturday.

Avila was being held in Burlington County Jail on charges of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Ronca told Superior Court Judge Patricia Richmond LeBon that Avila has tattoos that identify him as a gang member. Ronca emphasized, however, that the killing was not related to gang activity.

After the hearing, Ronca said an argument that led to the shooting was prompted by Avila's harassment of the girl, whose name has not been released.

Police officers who responded to a 911 call of a shooting at about 3:10 a.m. found Parra lying outside the Burlington City house and the girl inside the house, prosecutors said.

Parra, 19, of Burlington City had been shot several times. He was flown by helicopter to Capital Health System's Fuld Campus in Trenton, where he was pronounced dead.

The girl was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where she treated for a gunshot wound to the ankle.

Yes, some like to say religious affiliation does not matter to them, and maybe that's true, but the reality is far from this. Atheist politicians are forced to either lie about their faith, or expect a definate defeat. Why is a Christian such a better choice?

If you don't agree, why do you think such a large portion of America does?

How do those who are Ron Paul naysayers feel about him leading the FoxNews polls as the "winner" of tonights debate? And what does that say about the "conservative" viewers that FoxNews appeals to?

I am not a Republican but I stand by my stance that he's the only "Republican" that I would ever consider voting for. Personally he comes across more as an Independent or Libertarian to me, but we'll go with this "republican" thing since that's what he calls himself. :D

Government-paid journalists
On September 8, 2006, Miami Herald's president Jesús Díaz Jr. fired three journalists because they had allegedly been paid by the United States Government to work in anti-Cuba propaganda TV and radio channels. The three were Pablo Alfonso, Wilfredo Cancio Isla and Olga Connor.[4]. Less than a month later, and following the pressure of the Cuban community in Miami, Díaz resigned after reinstating the fired journalists. Nevertheless, he continues claiming that such payments, especially if coming from organisms of the state, violate the principles of journalistic independence[5]. At least seven other journalists that do not work at the Herald, namely Miguel Cossio, Carlos Alberto Montaner, Juan Manuel Cao, Ariel Remos, Omar Claro, Helen Aguirre Ferre, Paul Crespo and Ninoska Perez-Castellón, were also paid for programs on Radio Martí or TV Martí [6], both financed by the government of the United States through the Broadcasting Board of Governors, receiving a total of between 15,000 and 175,000 USD since 2001.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of anyone enlisting in the navy in the reserves... then, if I like it and decide that is what I want my career to be, applying to OCS to become an officer....

does this sound like a good idea? I already have a 4 year degree...but I sorta want to experience the navy as an enlisted first.... Thanks

My wife sustained injury due to a medical product and I'm wondering what kind of information we need to provide a law firm. Can/do they (the lawyers) do any investigating on their own or do we have to provide them all the information they need?
What exactly is necessary for us to file a lawsuit? What can we hope to gain?
Thanks in advance.
