I would say Israel too...
I have heard so many stories from americans while overseas that have been approached by concerned and even angry people regarding the Bush administrations' policies... We are being compared to the Soviet Union in the '80's (Afghanistan) among other criticisms.
We aren't popular right now.

Regarding the some of the other posters and the idea of "liberals" "hating America" because we criticize our governments actions... Or that we are less than patriotic for it...

hello??? First Amendment? Constitution?
Our forefathers' genius and hard work made sure that part of being a good American means to criticize openly what you don't like about the current policies of government. Write letters, raise hell! That's what you do when you love your country... you step outside of your box to MAKE IT BETTER.

They also tried to protect that (possible) minority by making sure that those currently in power or backward schmucks couldn't silence those voices.

So don't prove yourself less of an American by offering less than an intelligent, lucid and well-supported discussion. sorry this was so long.

I don't think anyone 'hates' the US. At this point it's all about disapointment. We're not living up to our implied 'mission statement'....which is to do good in the world by leading by example. The polices and politics of the US, particularly in the last half dozen years lost the United States a lot of respect. The US is supposed to be the cop on the beat, not the thug on the street. When this country returns to being the 'good guy' the world will accept our leadership...but to do that we're going to have to actually lead, not just make noise about it.

Why don't you tell us ? What makes you think America is the most hated ? Well your 100% wrong. America is not the most hated, but it does endure the most hate filled people all around the Globe. All the crap is thrown in the Face of the Statue of Liberty, meaning America. Why do people spread Propaganda about America and still stand with their hands held out for help ? Instead of hate, why don't you ask, what America has done for you ? Mention all the wonderful Love filled events that America has done to help the under dog . Think Positive and bury the word hate. God Bless the Beautiful United States of America.
