I was in my backyard by my pool over the weekend and my neighbor who is a minor came over and saw me in my g-string. I figured I was in my own yard and didn't need to cover up. He is a teenager and comes over to clean the pool in order to swim in it. He has seen me in a two piece swimsuit before but never has bothered me. This was my first time wearing it in front of him.

At the Quick Cash today I had to sign a waiver stating I am not an active member of the armed forces. I asked what was going on and the clerk said they will be forbidden by law to give out loans to such people starting in October. Why is this? What law, and why was this law passed?

Should I transfer this mortgage in my name and, also my lawyer did not mention this to me, the only thing in my father's name is his bank accounts and a truck. Should the accounts and truck only be in the probate inventory. Besides I live in the property.

They said we should legalize heroin because it is smuggled into the U.S. by packing the bodies of dead babies full of heroin. I think this is just an argument used to appeal to emotion that has little support or factual basis. If you have a news article, please share!

Thank you for contacting me about the refusal of subpoenaed White House officials to testify before the House and Senate Judiciary Committees about the 2006 termination of nine U.S. Attorneys. I appreciate hearing from you and share your concerns.

On July 12, 2007, former White House counsel Harriet Miers refused to comply with a subpoena to appear before the House Judiciary Committee. On August 2, 2007, senior political adviser Karl Rove similarly refused to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which I am a member.

I'm wondering, because I've been feeling like the Army is my calling for a long time..Like since I was 13.
I'm now 17 and seriously considering enlisting shortly after my 18th birthday.
My cousin was in the USMC, and he said that he thinks it's smart for me to go into the Army if I feel strongly that I want to enlist in the Military.
He warned me that, even if I go into the Reserves, I'll probably be called to active duty shortly, and I'll have to go to the Middle East, most likely.
So, do you think that the Army is a good branch for me to go into?

Many believe this to be the real birth day of Christ in the year 3 AD due to star alignment. If anyone still thinks it is 25 December then you are not getting a visit from Santa!

Seriously though, does anyone have any 'intelligent' thoughts on this possibility?

The family ahead of me in line at the grocery store had just bucketloads of groceries, all kinds of stuff. All I had was a little basket with rice, potatoes, and a salad. What amazes me is that the lady paid for all this food with food stamps, but when the clerk told her she couldn't use the stamps for cigarettes and beer, she gladly pulled out a wad of bills. Full of 10s, 20s... She was loaded.

I won't get paid till next week, and I'm pretty much done with grocery shopping and this is what this fat worthless baby making machine gets rewarded with? I felt tempted to ask her for some of those food stamps. I need them more than her apparently, and I work a full time job and have a college degree.

Doesn't anyone agree that the gov't should do mandatory weigh ins before they approve assistance? These bums don't deserve a cent. They can live off the fat they have already. Thats what animals in the wild do... chipmunks store food in their cheeks and whales have blubber they use.

Please answer me this because its a part of the equation I do not understand when California's governor wants everyone to have health insurance the Democrats are bent on insuring 40 million (Obama) citizens that don't now have health insurance; not how do you pay for the insurance but how is the present health care system suppose to care for them all?

I have heard it suggested that people with insurance won't flood the emergency rooms for sniffles - good - but won't they flood the doctors office instead? There are not enough nurses to go around now, not enough assistants to the nurses, not enough doctors, and not enough doctors offices to handle all of these extra insured. What is the plan by the left to fix that part of the equation or are they just ignoring it?

Recently visited my mother over the holiday weekend. There is a wooden fence between our backyard and the neighbors back yard which has a guard (not sure of breed) dog in it.
Usually when anyone pass by the dog will start barking loudly which is expected and ok. I guess the owner has it for security so it barking loudly at passerbys is not a concern, however monday something strange happened. The Dog has been ramming one particular plank in the wooden fence and I saw Monday that it had actually pushed this one wooden plank to where it was perpendicular with the rest of the fence. Now this has me really concerned. My mother is older and this dog does not sound all that nice, if it can get through the fence when my mother is out in our back yard it could be a VERY bad situation.

I am not sure but I don't think the dog has a chain on it. Is there a way to force someone to chain a dog?

Today I was driving with my children and passed 2 police cars and the car that they had pulled over, on the side of the road. Everyone was in their cars and getting ready to merge back into traffic. (They were pulled WAY off the road, almost into the grass) I slowed down to 40 (It was a 55 mph speed limit) as I passed. One of the police cars immediately pulled me over and gave me a ticket for not switching lanes as I passed them. Has this ever happened to any of you? What can I expect when I go to court? (He checked the box making it mandatory for me to appear in court. I was hoping I could just mail the fine in, but no) I haven't gotten a ticket in 12 years and back then, I just mailed the fine in. Can I ask for court supervision?

I very much consider myself a fanatical right winger though a few issues I would side with the left on (like the death penalty oddly enough) but in looking around here for the last year and seeing the extremism that exists on both sides I have to ask extremist of both sides:

What if the other side was correct (notice I didn't say right). I mean what if the other side had the answer to a political issue and it was a good answer for the majority of people or even all the people? Could you support that answer after it came from the other side? Or does your political blinders hit you and you discount it simply because of "who" is for it?

But when it comes to free healthcare, and free college the rich republicans say no no! It's easy to want more laws to keep everyone in prison or in fear. But there is no help for the little man out working and not making hardly anything.

How about down with wars, down with the rich and up with unions for workers?
