But when it comes to free healthcare, and free college the rich republicans say no no! It's easy to want more laws to keep everyone in prison or in fear. But there is no help for the little man out working and not making hardly anything.

How about down with wars, down with the rich and up with unions for workers?

The rich can't get richer by spreading the wealth and helping America. That's why they support "trickle-down economics".

I want better Government. There should be college for all if we want to compete with other industrialized nations. We want healthcare for all because a healthy country will benefit in so many was, businesses in fact, crazy isn't it?

I would love to see no lobbyists and no earmarks. The President should ste up a study group to take in account of all branches of Government and how work is being overdone by State and Federal agencies. Bipartisan work that would employ many experts and hopefully save a great deal of money in the long wrong.

Not more Government, better Government. And anyone who says they don't think Government works shouldn't run for office. I'm tired of hearing how shitty our Government is but how great our country is. You don't have one without the other! There has to be a way to make it work better!

If you are down with the Republicans you might want to look at the other side:

Free health care = more taxes
Free college for illegal aliens = more taxes
Global warming regulation = more taxes and fewer jobs

That last part about down with the rich (people who provide jobs) and up with unions (organizations that take hefty dues and end up putting companies out of business) isn't going to last very long.

Yes, at the end of the next election we are all going to go home and hide under the bed. You do not even need to campaign. We Quit.

Free healthcare? Free college?

Think those doctors and nurses are going to work for free? Think those drug companies are going to research and develop new medicines for free?

NOTHING IS FREE.

The only thing that could change if the Democrats take power is that you pay more taxes to cover the healthcare of not just yourself, but those who refuse or unable to work to pay for their own. Your waiting times in a doctor's office grow from 1 hour to 3 or 4 hours. Instead of seeing a doctor, you most likley see a nurse practitionor or physician's assistant. Instead of spending your time in the waiting room among your working peers, you get to sit next to the IV drug-using street person as he or she coughs TB germs in your face.

It's going to really be bad if the Democrats win next year, and ALL of us will pay dearly for such a mistake.

Until Bush II came along, for nearly 40 years I voted for the parties about equally. However, since the Republican Party nominated and promoted the election of the Bush administration it no longer qualfies as an American political party and therefore no one who calls himself a Republican can qualify as an American, period.
In other words, the Bush administration has ended Democracy in the U.S.

So you want freebies from the government. And who pays for them? I do!!!

Less taxes. Less government. You only get help if you need it. Temporary help. Not free stuff.

Want free college? Study hard and get a scholarship. Or a loan that you will pay back. Thats what 'I' did.

Electing Democrats for free government services. They do make those promises, and effectively 'BUY' elections. The party of the needy.

Let me educate you and the others who post on here that they will enjoy the demise of the Republican party.

Below was written by who I believe is the best President this country has ever had. "The Republican, Abraham Lincoln"

YOU CANNOT BRING AOUT PROSPERITY BY DISCOURAGING THRIFT. YOU CANNOT STRENGTHEN THE WEAK BY WEAKENING THE STRONG.

YOU CANNOT HELP THE WAGE EARNER BY PULLING DOWN THE WAGE PAYER. YOU CANNOT FURTHER THE BROTHERHOOD OF MAN BY ENCOURAGING CLASS HATRED.

YOU CANNOT HELP THE POOR BY DESTROYING HTE RICH. YOU CANNOT KEEP OUT OF TROUBLE BY SPENDING MORE THAN YOU EARN. YOU CANNOT BUILD CHARACTER AND COURAGE BY TAKING AWAY MAN'S INITIATIVE AND INDEPENDENCE.

YOU CANNOT HELP MEN PERMANENTLY BY DOING FOR THEM WHAT THEY COULD AND SHOULD DO FOR THEMSELVES.

This is why I am a Republican! You don't see this taught in schools....

It takes around 4 to 5 years after a President has left office for his accomplishments to show anything in our economy. In Clinton's case your living what he did while he was in office now. That's the case while Clinton was president and things were good it was Reagan's doings not his.If another democrat is elected and things start looking better after a couple of years then you should thank Bush and all the republicans. You sound like most democrats ignorance is bliss.
