You have to remember it benefits the left to have Romney sucking up some support and financial contributions from Rudi or Fred. The more they can build him up the better - they know he can't win but the more cash he sucks out of the eventual primary winner the better off the left is.

Maybe the numbers have something to do with it: You might notice that Obama also is returning $2,300 the same amount as Romney. Yet your blogger just passed right over Obama's involvement.

Hillary's $23000 as opposed to Romney's and Obama's $2300. Do the math!
