You're either a neocon or you're not. If you're not, there isn't any reason to take it as an attempt to insult you.

Pony, far from the same. I insulted no one,but feel free to insult if it makes you feel better about yourself.

John S,neolib is not really an insult to me,i'm not one. The movement has very few followers in the US,they lack any power here. IMO

Is not an insult. Is a belief, a political ideology that many people have. Somehow many conservatives think that is an insult to their beliefs. Neo-conservative and conservative are very different.

Because people misuse the word Neocon. Anymore people use the word Neocon to refer to conservatives, I'm not offended, I just wish people would learn to use the word right.

Neo-Conservatism, just like "Neo-Liberalism" (as the term is used by the Zapatistas) tend to both be used as derogatory terms...

Extreme Right Wing maybe is more acceptable?

True. All conservatives are not neo-cons. Some don't seem to be able to distinguish the difference between a true Conservative and a Neoconservative.

I take it with a grain of salt ... I'm not worried about what you call me... "neocon", or whatever, but I know what those on the left are, and I don't like what I see... Communism!!!
