He has done things before that I did not report and now finally I did.

When they located him, he lied to them and said I slapped him and broke into his email account, trying to get me arrested.

I swore out a warrant. He works at my company.

Do you think they arrested him?

He is so convincing and manipulative.

Do you think he can get them to arrest me with his lies?

I am afraid.

He also told me not to leave the apartment and threw a biscuit at me and spread it all over the carpet and said clean it up, you did this, it is your fault.

Today a guy on a motorcycle drove up beside me as I was at a red light waiting to turn left and when the light turned green he turned left right in front of me totally cutting me off and almost causing me to hit him because I didn't know he was turning.
Are they allowed while operating a motorcycle to cut in and out of traffic in between cars and cutting in front of everybody else?
It seems to me that they should have to abide by the same laws of the road as the rest of us and not terrorize motorists just because they're on a motorcycle.
Are they allowed by law to drive like that?
And if so why?

Also if I had accidentally hit him whose fault would it have been?

Here is what the government funded health care programs in one state cost state hospitals. How can the hospitals stay open if we have a nationwide universal health care plan like this?

Wisconsin:
Shortfalls from government programs continued to increase in 2006. On average, the Medicare Program paid hospitals only 77 percent of the cost of providing care to beneficiaries, while Medicaid paid even less at 48 percent of cost. That translates into over $1.6 billion of hospital patient care costs not funded by government programs that were shifted to others—also known as the “hidden health care tax.”

Uncompensated care—a combination of unreimbursed care provided to charity patients and bad debts for those patients able to pay but who fail to pay for services—totaled $614 million, increasing by $65 million (12 percent) over 2005, with charity care representing the larger increase of 27 percent, or $43 million. Bad debts accounted for $22 million of the increase. Contrary to some claims, a small percentage of charges are actually ever collected from those without insurance. These unpaid bills are also part of what hospitals must pass on to commercial payers.

“Wisconsin hospitals continue to provide high quality, cost-effective care,” said WHA Senior Vice President George Quinn. “But unfunded patient care expenses—government program payment shortfalls and uncompensated bad debts and charity care—continue to increase and now amount to over 20 percent of the hospital bill for a patient with commercial insurance.”

At last count, the United States owes the rest of the world over two trillion dollars. That’s two thousand billion dollars, a lot of money even for the late Senator Everett Dirksen. As recently as the 1970’s, America was the major creditor nation, lending money overseas and investing its dollars abroad. We were exporting food, airplanes, technology and even consumer goods. In those days, the total of all imports to and exports from the US to the rest of the world amounted to slightly less than 12% of its GDP. And almost half of that was trade between the US and Canada and Mexico. But no more. Over the past 3 decades, the US has bought far more goods than it has sold. And those goods now are sold to America from factories in China, the far east and South America, as well as massive amounts of oil from Venezuela and the other OPEC countries. The current monthly balance of trade deficit is running at about $58 billion. China alone reports to have over $1 trillion in US money.

So my friend started dealing about a 2 months ago.(cannabis only) apparently a 27 year old who he didn't even know bought 4 oz. every three days at whatever price my friend said.(turned out to be an undercover) I know i know, this kid isn't the smartest. Anyways the cops busted down his door with a search warrant and charged him with possession of 6oz with intent to sell and something else.(both class 3) While he was in his jail cell he had an asthma attack. Apparently the cops didn't call for the paramedics right away.

Now he is expecting to get off the hook because of it.

I keep telling him that he has a law suit against the cops but he is still charged with these 2 felonies, can still do jail time, and these 2 incidents don't relate to each other.

Him having an asthma attack doesn't change the fact that he was caught with a shitload of weed and is guilty does it?

I would like to add that I do NOT associate with this behavior in ANY way.(he is more a friend of a friend.)

i've been trying to find out if having sex in your car is illegal, and alot of answers i've read have said something along the lines of "it depends on the situation". so people...can we get serious for just one second?

we live in PA, we're planning on going to a secluded mountain road and backing into the trees a little. there will most likely be no one around, and i have no doubt that we'll be covered up when we do it. we cant be out late enough to wait for night, so dont recommend it. also, the windows on this car are not tinted.

i dont know if it matters but we're both 17, and we both, of course, are consenting to it.

so i guess my question is...what is the worst thing that can happen if we get caught? it will be our first offense if it does happen, so how will that play into things?

I make a living as a private tutor of Spanish. Either I go my students' homes, or they come to my house for class.

There's this new student of mine. He wants to learn Spanish because everyone else speaks spanish at work, and he has no idea what everyone else says.

The problem is that he lives in the other side of town. He feels my house is too far away. I think he lives too far away too. Gas is expensive.
So I figured, we could have class at the public library which is halfway from us; it's just as close from my house and his.
It's a big and depressing library. It's depressing because it's so big and beautiful, yet you barely ever see any people. I'm sure I'll never have a problem getting a study room for ourselves.

I can do this on a public library?
