Look, if he wants to change his plea and fight the charges against him, that's his business. The guy who is out of his mind is Arlen Specter for trying to talk him into not resigning. Doesn't Specter realize that as soon as Craig announces he's not resigning there are likely to be a number of men who come forward and claim they had sex with Craig. This story was just on the verge of fading away for the Republicans and now they're courting a whole new round of lurid embarrassing allegations.
Of course U.S. soldiers and civilians continue to die in Iraq and Afghanistan, the genocide persists in Darfur, New Orleans remains hobbled, powerful storms lash the Yucatan and Central America and we're worrying about a Senator's (alleged) bathroom dalliances. We're getting what we deserve.

I assume your speaking of the latest news today that he may reconsider not resigning? I don't condone his behavior if he did do what is said but I do beleive this media explotation of these so called wrong doers is rediculous. Why do we take the medias word as 100% correct. We dont stop to think maybe this is being presented from a slanted view point. Again, I am not defending the guy, simply just questioning why we are so eager to beat this someone down before all the facts are on the table. And why do we care so much about insignificant things?

Absolutely Craig should resign, he is sick, but you Lib hipocrates don't say the same thing about William Jefferson, Barney Frank, Studs, Clinton. Why didn't BJ Clinton resign?
You think if GW got a Hummer in the Oval Office by a fat intern, he would be made to resign? The libs would be falling all over themselves if that happened, you guys amaze me.

At least give the Republicans credit for not "rallying to his aid". Craig doesn't fit in with the family plan, and will get the boot. Dems can take a back seat on this one, Repubs got it under control.

Sinful lust clouds a mans thinking, making him do things he would have never done in his right mind.
He didn't do anything illegal, he was so set up, but he is sick if that's what he prefers. Not fair at all to his wife.
He should have just changed parties like Rush said today. Then he wouldn't have to have any morals at all.
