The state of Tennessee is still going down hill. There are still businesses that are leaving Tennessee and going to blue states or over seas. How can we vote for someone that has not really done much for his own state?

My bestfriend is in the airforce and in desperate need of some professional help. He's drinking more and more to help him forget his abusive past.

He wants to go to counseling but said that he can't because it'll raise a red flag on his military file.

Is that true? If so, how can he work around it, because, again it's obvious he needs counseling.

To the American voter come 08 elections? The neocon TROLL BOSS sure doesn't like it when valid questions are being asked in the Politics section of Yahoo. I am sure the Neocon TROLL BOSS will want to censor this question because they have no answers except to try to blame their own actions on a Democrat without any facts to their claims. The American voter isn't being fooled by this though. Neocon spin means next to nothing just like their answers here. Who else wants change and to be free of these tyrants?

Isn't it time for us to all become responsible citizens and step up to the plate instead of blaming everyone else?
Or, do you prefer to leave it to others?

Like people who email me and tell me I have no business being on Yahoo because I am only 16 and still in high school. Do you think they are intimidated by the fact that I am graduating early from high school, that I am in AP classes, and I am thinking about Pre-Med for a major in college? Or do you just think they are being ignorant and don't want me here because I understand what they're saying and that I'll speak up if I don't agree with them. Isn't that kind of juvenile?

"....The nationalist Swiss People's Party is proposing a deportation policy that anti-racism campaigners say evokes Nazi-era practices. Under the plan, entire families would be expelled if their children are convicted of a violent crime, drug offenses or benefits fraud...."

I got married roughly a year ago and though my husband is pretty cool that I keep my maiden name, I know it would mean a lot to him if carry his last name. We didn't go through lawyers when we did the filing, we all did it - rather he did most of the paperwork, hence me being clueless about some stuff.

Thank you = )

First when they yell at you "ISLAM". It means "SUBMIT" accepting all their rules.
Second, you have the choice to pay ransom for your live so SUBMIT physically but not spiritually.
Third you can accept the Sword and be decapitated by Allah's messengers.....
Isn't that special? I guess that's why we have no choice but to fight in Irak, and elsewhere or else we will have to submit to the mongrels.

I believe the war with iran is inevitable.......it will happen whether we like it or not. last i heard Iran have been attacking kurds inside northern iraq.

I sense a full blitz air campaign that will take criple Iran's military and government powers.

the US wont even need to have a ground campaign. Iran will be bombed so bad, it'll not be able to do a thing.

Iran has anounced it has 3,000 centifuges running and more are being installed on a weekly basis

Russia and China seem bent on blocking UN sanctions and other actions that would be "too harsh"

Bush has recently labled 100,000 plus Iranian elite guard terrorists and has accused them of creating failure in Iraq

Is a war with Iran now inevitable

If war is to happen will it be surgical strikes - conentional or nuclear

1. Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit. Another big government program.

2. No Child Left Behind. Expanded federal intervention into education, a state and local government issue.

3. Dubai Port Deal. Turn over a key National Security issue to the Arabs?!?

4. Nomination of Harriet Myers to Supreme Court. What qualifications other than she was your personal lawyer and friend?

5. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. See comment #4.

6. Mike Brown at FEMA and the Katrina response. another unqualified crony.

7. Immigration Reform. Let's partner with Teddy Kennedy and accuse conservatives who oppose this bill of racism.

8. The IRAQ War. Didn't he and Donald Rumsfield botch the whole prosecution of the war by not sending in enough troops to begin with?

Fellow Conservatives, a question. Hasn't George Bush been a huge disappointment? Aren't you sick and tired of him?

I see all these supposedly brilliant comments about Craig, and he deserves them for what he did, but how about the (did)Honorable Jim McGreevey who was carrying on a homosexual love affair behind the backs of his wife and children while Governor of New Jersey? Where were all the cutsie remarks then? Do you suppose that they think what he did was OK?

Forgive my ignorance, I am still learning. I do not understand how an official can do anything but what we tell them to do when he or she is in office. From what I have read on these postings, not many people are satisified with the officials. If the majority do not want them in office, why are they still in office? Isn't it time our nation simplifies things? When we ask for something as a majority, shouldn't we get it?
