Okay can anyone seriously tell me why Officers are paid 2-4 times morethan an Enlisted person? I know that they have a degree before entering the military but does that really warrant the amount of money they are paid? In my experience it is usually the enlisted personnel that does everything and has more knowledge of thier jobs. Just curious when a 1Lt who pushes papers would make more than a SSgt who's out there fixing fighters :0)

Just curious that's all. And yes, my husband is enlisted but enlisted with a 4 year degree because he wanted to work for a living :0) I'm not complaining about his pay or anything (he's an E-5 sellect). We have one child and although we aren't financially comfortable yet, we do just fine. I've just always been curious about the differences in pay.

Let's face it. No one in their right mind wants to be President because the press will make your life a nightmare. The press makes it impossible for good candidates to run because of the horrible and unfair scrutiny it places upon a person and his entire family. Only people with the most bland personalities and lifestyles can possibly survive the relentless attacks from the press.

Once a President is in office, the modern press makes it impossible for him to do his job. Imagine if, during the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the press decided to print stories of JFK's marital infidelities with Marilyn Monroe? Can you imagine how such a huge distraction might have caused that chapter in history to go terribly, terribly wrong?

How about Clinton? How could he perform his duties with the press micro-analyzing everything? Imagine the thousands of hours Clinton had to waste on this, rather than combatting terrorism.

What can we do to make the press more responsible?

GOP talked constantly about Clinton and rarely mentioned OBL. Why? Even Limbaugh was focused like a laser on Clinton. Why not OBL as he claims to be such a genius?
Were they fearful of a terrorist attack by the president?

Was the song 'Fernando' by ABBA about the Mexican Revolution or the Spanish Civil War?

It mentions 'Rio Grande' but there are rivers named that in both Mexico and Spain.

"We never thought we could lose.... " sounds like they lost the war and that they were fighting for freedom.... which could mean they were the Republicans who lost the Spanish Civil War to the Nationalists who were supported by Nazi Germany and Italy and deprived everyone of freedom.

So which is right?

Did they ponder at all, the delicate balance between Sunni (http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/entry/Sunni) and Shiite (http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/entry/Shiites) followers?

I've heard a couple of different stories about people getting hurt on someone's property while they were in the progress of robbing them (or something a long the lines of that) , then going on to sue them and winning. Does this really happen and what were the judges smoking when they let that happen? And have you heard of stories like this?

I contacted child support agency but they will not help me. They said that if she provides proof that he is living with her they would not turn it off. So I guess she provided fake documantation. He's being living with me for 3 months. I live in thomasville Georgia can some one please tell me what i need to do. Trust me child support is a joke they are for his mother even though she does not have him so please dont tell me to go back and talk to them. Thank you and God bless.
