The Democrats are alway right. But for some reason, the Republicans blindly follow the party until the it hits the fan. Didn't you have a boom economy when Bill Clinton was president? Wasn't there 8 years of pure bliss other than when the Republicans were jealous of all of Clinton's success and tried to trip him up.
Why didn't you keep the bliss going. Are you paying for it now by having 8 years of pure hell with George Bush. Guess what? You are going to have 8 more years of pure hell if you vote another Republican in office again.

Both parties are right of center; I agree with the Democrats on most issues, though I used to vote Republican back in the 1980s and 1990s (before "W"). You should probably be more specific on which issue(s) you are referring to

Mr. Bush has invoked Vietnam to argue against leaving Iraq. That argument is specious, but there is a chilling similarity between the two American foreign policy disasters. In Vietnam, as in Iraq, American presidents and military leaders went to great lengths to pretend that victory was at hand when nothing could be farther from the truth.

Going by party platform the Republicans. The Democrats platform is nothing but Socialism. The Republicans would be ideal except most of the ones elected have abandoned the party platform.

Neither is right on all issues. You just have to educate yourself on the particular people who are running and choose as wisely as possible.

It would really depend on the issue. Also, I think it is quite rare that you have every member of either party that votes the same on any given issue.

todays republicans are dems in republican clothing. ron paul is the only true republican left.
this is why they call todays republicans neocons. meaning new conservatives. there is nothing conservative about them
mitt romney. flip flops on everything including abortion.
rudy against guns, pro abortion
freddy t clone of bush. states on his website that bush has done everything the way he would do it!!!
mccain is a sellout
ron paul is the only true conservative with principles that actually represents the people. he has nothing to do with lobbyists who spend 6 million dollars a day influencing legislation. all this time, i thought the only thing that is suppose to influence legislation is the people's voice.

No one is right all the time. I think that both parties are so mired in one-upmanship and bias, that right now they're both wrong. I wish there were more than two parties in power right now.
