Someone who does not lie, that is a responsible leader,one with morals and values. Someone who cares for this Nation , People and the Children and what they are being taught. Someone who is not afraid of the lobbyist and the ACLU. IN other Words, SOMEONE WITH A BACKBONE.

A leader to me is one who stands by his convictions, his/her love of family and his country. A person with high standards and morals like Lincoln, Reagan, Bush, Mother Theresa, Margaret Thatcher.

but not a very effective one, considering the opposition to his war.

One who can gain the trust of others. Their decisions are generally correct and based on information from a varitey of sources as well as experience and gut feeling. He/she must be willing to admit mistakes and take responsibility and have accountability for own actions and those reporting to them.
