A better question.....why would any self respecting person want to associate themselves with a group of people who bring so much harm to so many?

No to mention the fact that if they want "true Christians" only, they are contradicting themselves by committing the acts against others that they do...It's "Love thy neighbor as you would thy self" not "Love thy neighbor but only if they follow the same religion as you do."

@Irae.....never said you had accept anything as having equal validity to your own beliefs.......it's about not supporting a group that does as much damage and harm as the KKK.

Becuase the Ku Klux Klan is a Christian organization, founded on Christian values. That racism and violence are traditional Christian values shouldn't surprise anyone who knows a lick of world history. That being said, they hate anyone who isn't Christian on the basis that they (the klan) are a God fearing people.

As with all religions, there are fanatics that claim to represent them. Some wish to deny that radicals claiming Christianity exist.

Jim Jones comes to mind. There are many horrific deeds that have been done under the guise of Christianity.
