My car was repossed by the dealership. They called me and told me that they would help me get my car back and that they would repair my car for me because it had stopped running. The dealership refinaced my car and added all the repair charges onto my car note. Me my 3 year old daughter my friend and her 4 month old son drove around Meridian and went to the mall, then drove 50 miles back home. When I went to put gas into my car all of it ended up on my foot because my fuel line was not hooked up proporly to my gas tank. What I want to know is can I sue the car dealership for negligence and reckless indangerment. Considering my car could have blown up at any moment while driving. Also can my friend sue them also?

The full quote: “War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things,” observed the British philosopher John Stuart Mill. “The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.”

Let's say person M (for murder) and person A (for adultery) are married. Person M treats person A very well, but person A has an affair anyway. Person M finds out, and is so mad that person M kills person A.

Which is worse? Person A's adultery, or person M's murder of person A? Despite the question's title, the question isn't whether or not it's entirely justified, but just which is worse.

Suppose person M had some reason for not wanting to just divorce person A. Maybe person M didn't want to have to lose or share custody of the kids.

If a criminal robs you at gunpoint, then starts to run away, is it legal to shoot him in the back, in order to recover the stuff he stole? I think it's legal to shoot criminals to prevent them from shooting you, but in this example there isn't any threat that they'll shoot you anymore. If you can't shoot them to get your stuff back, then what is the alternative? The cops might not be able to find them, and you might not be able to catch them in a chase. Plus if you try, they might shoot you. Do you just have to let them get away with stealing your stuff?

I'm an American citizen, I voted against Bush and his war. He is as unpopular here as he is abroad.

America once was a respected nation. Now, we are frightening and pissing off the entire world. Other than our stance on Iran, the rest of the world wants nothing to do with us.
Our allies, some have stuck with us (THANK you and bless you), and others have (rightly?) abandoned us. But you can't really blame them.

The world was with us after 9-11, and supported us in Afghanistan. George Bush has destroyed all of the goodwill that the world had toward us when he unilaterally invaded Iraq. Now we are seen as a villain and a menace. Some nations may be arming themselves because they percieve us as a threat, so it's our own fault.

When the world turns its back on your country, it's time to admit that you could be wrong.

To non-US citizens: What can we do to right this wrong? How can we regain your respect?

I love my country, but that doesn't mean I support everything it does.

Chief "Palestinian" Justice Taysir Tamimi claimed, "About these so-called two Temples, they never existed, certainly not at the Haram Al-Sharif (Temple Mount)," said Tamimi, who is considered the second most important "Palestinian" cleric after Muhammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.

"There is no Jewish connection to Israel before the Jews invaded in the 1880s," said Tamimi.

The "Palestinian" cleric denied the validity of dozens of digs verified by experts worldwide revealing Jewish artifacts from the First and Second Temples.

"We are fed up with this crap nonsense of the Temple Mount," said Nasser Abu Aziz, the "Palestinian" deputy commander of Fata's Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in the northern West Bank.

"Go look for your stupid Temple elsewhere. The Jews invented this story in order to justify their occupation of Jerusalem."

This is the kind of blatant lies that millions of Arab children are being brought up with, and believe. Will you allow this for YOURS?

My Aunt was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few months ago, which deemed her mentally unable to make decisions for herself and therefore invoked power of attorney to my cousin. My Cousin decided it was best for her to be "put" in a home care facility and was taken there directly from the doctor's office Now, she's not allowed to leave the residence without her (cousin) permission. She has not even back to her home to retrieve personal belongings. My ? How can she attain a second opinion on her medical evaluation? I have not been able to visit her in person yet (she is in OK, I am in CA) however, her mental state has never been at all vague or distracted during any phone conversation. She has never shown any signs of disorientation or confusion, but is in fact VERY aware of the current situation, so of course is unhappy. My cousin has also mentioned selling her house, and of course has full access to all bank accounts...etc.
Does anyone has any advise how I can help her?

In Bedford County, sheriff's deputies have arrested an illegal immigrant for fondling two young girls.

Police say the incidents happened inside a Goodwill store in Forest on Saturday. Employees grew suspicious of the man and then called 911. Police arrested Santos Guzman. He's currently being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail facing several charges including fondling two eight-year-olds.

Guzman is from El Salvador and entered the United States illegally in 2004.

The sheriff's department has contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement to find out more information on this man.

BAGHDAD - Iraq's embattled prime minister defended his government Sunday against American critics, saying they underestimate the problems facing this country and fail to appreciate his achievements "such as stopping the civil and sectarian war."

"such as stopping the civil and sectarian war." Really, 1,800 Iraqis were killed last month. Is that what he calls stopping the violence.

And if he has, why are we there?
