I can't stop laughing!! of some of these responses!

Is it just pure nationalism or witlessness?!!
YA, it was actually Japan nuking US!!
History book will educate these people IF they can read!

There're more than 10 or 20 records! just pause your nationalism for few minutes and read!

Well..until Bush came along..generally we responded to aggression in most cases. However, he seems to run on testosterone and bully-on-the-global-playground philosophy.
Iraq invasion..aggression. Afghanistan invasion..response to 9-11. Ranting now about Iran..just plain crazy. I think Bush is certifiable.

To tell you the truth, I don't know that what you are saying is correct. I think the contrary actually. The USA has an obligation to look out for it's interests, rather than, be democrats about things and sit back and take a pounding until we cave in. So, whatever you seem to think that "conservatives" think about our assertiveness, I think you are wrong.
So you want to be aggressive toward your government by standing up to them? I don't get it, it's ok for you to confront the government when you feel like it but not ok for our government to confront others when they feel like it? That's not fair, it's a double standard, it's ludicrous, thats typical anymore though.
Look what they did with Jose Padilla. Think they should have been a little more passive about that guy? Think they should have waited until he fulfilled his desires and killed innocent people?

I believe that conservative America feels that America has no record of aggression. Somehow the majority has chosen to remain quiet on the Iraq War and has accepted this war.

Is it right to kill and murder innocent people and then later discover that our government lied to us?

we dont have that record because of the liberals burying funding and surrendering...look at viet nam in the ford administration...the same thing is happening now with the ridiculous grandstanding about iraq.

Some very sad people answering your question. I'm afraid they don't have the capacity to understand. I have never cowered in fear by this administration. I never cower at stupidity.

I think cowering in fear is a personal choice. I choose to not live in fear of my government. Sorry you feel differently.
