Congress approved a 17 percent increase in ICE's overall budget nationally last year but funds for detention and removal of illegal immigrants nearly doubled, according to an analysis by the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

They will be more agressive towards ILLEGALS In the coming months and into the elections In 2008. After that It will all depend on who is elected PRESIDENT. Either way I think the clock has struck MIDNIGHT on ILLEGALS.... http://www.ice.gov/

LOL Not that I have heard anything about. If so, I'd just consider it PR anyway. Nobody is going to start enforcing laws in the US as long as the president of Mexico says not to. We are owned and operated by a foreign countries leader, we just do things to please other countries. We cannot remove illegal immigrants until we are told to. Sorry, not today.

The only places that I can find any such assertion is at pro-illegal alien sites where they are complaining that this is the case. ICE has made no such claim. http://www.ice.gov/ It would be nice, however, if they WOULD get more serious.

ICE sucks at their job. ICE is a good name for them because they are always cold when it comes to finding illegal immigrants! Mexicans should join our special forces because they are the best at stealth tactics! Chicano power!
