When we were at peace, Democrats wanted to raise taxes. Now there's a war, so Democrats want to raise taxes. When there was a surplus, Democrats wanted to raise taxes. Now that there is a shrinking deficit, Democrats want to raise taxes.

Last democrat to cut taxes; JFK in 1962!

Like when you go shopping at a store, and go through the checkout and on the way out an employee asked to see your receipt and look into your shopping bag, do they have a legal right to do so? I know your probably asking "if you have nothing to hide why don't you show your bag"...I'm just trying to find out what my legal rights are. The only exception I could find would be at Costco since you agree when getting a membership to consent to this search.

I was in the Marine Corps myself, but honestly, I can't remember a time that I was in uniform off base for any reason. But last week I was at a festival and I saw FOUR Marines in their service Alphas, each with a big mug of beer. Not only that but they were outside without their coves on. I think the highest ranking person was a Sergeant, but I cant remember. What are the rules regarding this?

Rio, Kelly B and Bush isn't a Conservative just to name a few that I know of. These users are civil and respectful to everyone. Protesters are being arrested on the street and banned from "websites" now.

Has the constitution of the US really become just a piece of paper?

The last three conservative presidents have run up 70% of the national debt (two Bush's and a Reagan).

"Fiscal conservatism is a political phrase term used in the United States to attack government spending and advocate instead lower spending and a lower federal debt..." (source: wiki)

Does it just not work...or was it implemented in the wrong way?

Okay. They have been saying they will legalize marijuana for a while now. I don't understand why. They want everyone to stop doing drugs right? They are illegal. So why change there opinion? Just because they haven't completely tackled the issue why give in? Marijuana can often lead to higher drugs.

Lead story from Yahoo:

"N.Korea agrees to disable nuclear program in 2007
North Korea's lead nuclear negotiator Kim Kye-gwan leaves a hotel in Geneva, September 2, 2007. North Korea agreed in weekend talks with the United States to fully account for and disable its nuclear programs by the end of this year, negotiators said on Sunday."

So, my "Liberal" (supposedly fair, open minded) friends, can you admit for once Bush got it right? (and I won't harp on the fact that Clinton got bamboozled).

Yesterday, I stopped at the store and was getting my son out of the car and thought I heard a camera clicking. I turned around and saw two men taking pictues of me from a car (i was parked on the street and their car pulled up alongside). I confronted them and asked what they were doing and the passenger kept taking pictures! I reacted by raising my voice and putting my hand up to block the camrea. At that point, he put the camera down and made a very lewd comment and they just drove off!!

I wrote the license plate number down. I want to go to the police but I'm very embarrased. Do I have a case here? Isn't this against the law?! Will the police do anything with this? I'm scared that the pictures will wind up online. I don't think they got anything bad but I was helping my son out of the car at the time and any mom knows what you have to go through to get kids out of the car sometims. I'm very worried about this.

How long would it take to actually get all the troops, support systems, sub contractors and especially all of our trillions of dollars of equiptment back on US shores. Or are we just going to leave all those armaments for the Muslims?

Is it good for the citizens, or the immigrants? At what point is enough enough? Los Angeles won't be diverse for long, it will be 99% hispanic if things continue the way they are.
