How about getting rid of this free trade nonsense and nafta and the politicians who support it

I haven't seen any Chinese car that I would drive.
I wouldn't want a car made in Mexico.
When the Japanese and Americans put factories in Mexico a few years ago, the Japanese shut all of theirs down and pulled out, and half the American factories shut down. Why? Because of theft. In some cases there was out and out looting.
I have no idea why, but for some reason Mexican people do not believe that stealing is wrong. I find that morally reprehensable.
If you didn't pay for it, if you didn't buy it, if it was not given to you as a gift, it does not belong to you, and it is not yours for the taking. If you take it, that is stealing, and it is wrong, and in America it is illegal.
What is the catholic church teaching them down in Mexico? Nothing?

I drive a "Japanese" brand vehicle which was actually built here in America.

I don't know of any Chinese cars sold in the US. Most cars made by American companies are assembled in Canada or Mexico. I just buy the safest, most reliable, and economical car I can find.

My Ford truck was assembled in Mexico. Nowadays, American cars don't necessarily mean made in America. We have Toyota plants in the U.S., a huge one was opened recently in San Antonio. Ford and Mazda parts are interchangeable...many made overseas.

If you want a real shocker, go in your closet and TRY to find any clothes "made in the USA"....estimates are 85-90% of clothes are made outside the USA, even brands people "associate" with the USA.

I don't think 'boycott' is how I'd consider it. But I would 'buy American', it is just harder to figure out what that is when Ford has factories in Mexico. I'd be for requiring labeling on cars where they are built.

only new one's not used cars and the only reason I'd boycott new ones is to try and push for more American made stuff you know try and bring back the big business that has left for cheaper labor.
