Dam I'm cross. Advice and warning would have been reasonable.

of a lease I have with an apt. complex. Basically, I have had alot of trouble out of the complex. I live on the 2nd (top) story. My stairway coming to my apt. has gaping wholes in it, where there should be small boards, so children/pets won't fall thru. Also, my balcony is in really bad shape. When you go out on it, it shakes really bad, as if it's going to fall. The pools haven't been open all summer. Just alot of problems. Is there anyway, legally to get out of my lease? Thanks in advance :)

Question: Dude... Why do Belgians obsess over US politics?

Question Details: And then troll and report those that don't agree with them?

Deleted Answer: They resent the fact that we have saved their sorry asses from tyrants and totalitarian governments numerous times. They resent the fact that their best and brightest flee for America when given the opportunity so they may reach their true potential. They realise that if the best and brightest are gone, they (those remaining) are required to work beyond their limited ability to keep their welfare state afloat. They resent the fact that despite their political posturing, America continues to provide for their military defence, proving that we stand by allies no matter how hypocritical they become. They resent the fact that first America, and now Asian economies are rendering their feeble failed socialist experiment more irrelevant yearly. They are impotent and they know it.

EDIT: this actually applies to much of the EU.

people are always talking about all the 'illegals' in their neighborhoods, but how do you know which immigrants are actually illegal? i doubt that they go around with t-shirts on that say, 'i'm an illegal immigrant', and i know there's no illegal immigrant registry that they sign up for when they get here. is the preferred method just to focus your hatred for illegal immigrants at people who you assume are illegal for whatever reason, or do you go up to them and ask them, first?

people come up with all of these statistics on illegal immigration- for example, i saw someone who said something like, 'i was waiting in line to see a doctor, and there was like 20 mexicans in front of me, and they say about half are illegal...' who's 'they', and where are these numbers coming from?

is the preferred method just to focus your hatred for illegal immigrants at people who you assume are illegal for whatever reason, or do you go up to them and ask them if they're illegal, first?

My signature is my full first name, and the first 3 letters of my last (McF with a nice long line through the F), It may seem silly but I have trouble writing my full last name in cursive, it usually ends up a mess, this way it's a little easier :)

You hate it, I hate it, the illegals hate it.I'm talking decent illegals who just want better for their families here on this question. They don't want to leave their homes either. But we have major issues which our government has put into motion that they were warned about by economists would turn into a disaster.Without thinking of the consequences AGAIN.We entered into Trade Agreements that benefit the wealthy and large corporations. This has created a mass migration of Mexico's poorest.Thereby causing substantial strain on OUR systems and working class. To stop this once and for all with a permanant fix instead of the band aids we've previously applied such as the amnesty of '86 we need to address the real issues of WHY this has happened.Do you agree with this as a valid argument and path to end illegal immigration?

Immigration has obviously become absorbed into the polarized political battle between the Left and Right.

Politics aside...

-What are the benefits of immigration?

-What problems does immigration pose for the United States?

-What kinds of lives do illegal immigrants live in this country?

their beliefs on people that they don't even know?

I mean if you are against gay marraige....don't be gay and get married. If you are against abortion...don't have one. If you don't think that people should be allowed to drink on Sundays...then don't drink on Sundays.

If these "Christians" are so high and mighty, why do they need laws on the books that prevent them from doing things that are wrong. Can they not do the right thing in their own life regardless as to whether or not it is legal or illegal to do something that they are against?

I mean don't get me wrong, I don't agree with abortion....so you know what....I didn't have one. Worked for me. I don't care if two gays get married. I don't know them and their marraige doesn't affect me in any way.

Jeez....why can't people live and let live. They would be a lot better off.

Rich conservatives/Republicans mostly care about money, business and enriching themselves. Poor conservatives/Republicans believe everything their rich brethren tell them, even to their own detriment.

Last year's election showed that these poor dupes are starting to catch on to Bush and his rich pals, but they still believe that the Bush administration cares about terror and homeland security, when in reality he only cares about helping the 'haves, and the have-mores'.

Bush is doing more damage to the conservative/Republicans than to anybody else except, of course, the poor and the middle class.

Bush has polarized the government and the country to a standstill, yet the poor conservatives/Republicans continue to lap up his nonsense.

Why do they keep falling for the same old garbage?
