Do you remember him saying "The people who knocked down these buildings will hear from all of us soon"...six years later and we are still at war with a country that had no connection to 9-11.

Gee, a whole six years...I'm appalled--at some peoples utter lack of perspective and, as my mother said, sticktoitveness. If you really believe that Iraq had no connection to terror or terrorists then you are seriously deluding yourself. In fact several main line players were either apprehended or killed in the invasion. And the last time I checked we are still winning in Afghanistan. Our presence in the middle east has upset the apple cart-for the lunatics who seek other nations destruction, world domination, or both. They want us out for obvious reasons. Their bloodlust will only be satisfied with the extermination of millions if not billions in the name of jihad. If you cannot even get up the intestinal fortitude to challenge and fight these self proclaimed tyrants, then get the hell out of the way so others can defend the weak and helpless. Opposing evil has always been and will always be HARD. If it was easy everyone would do it. You can either be the one who stands around while someone is beaten to a pulp as we see all the time in this country, or you can be the one who stands up and does something about it. Inevitably, your choice reflects on you more then the cause.

Read this weeks Time magazine to get fresh insight into WHY we haven't gone after big targets in Afghanistan, too.

They had to have an overwhelming superiority of forces and approval from the White House to act against Taliban targets.
A failed mission might have been politically embarrassing.

you are sooo misinformed!!!!!! geeeezzzzzzz... what the heck is wrong with people!!!! we invaded Afghanistan on the premise of removing the Taliban which had al-qaeda connections.... and we're still there!!!! we invaded Iraq due to several reasons... first and foremost... Saddam broke the treaty that he signed after the 1st Gulf War... violated no-fly zones... pursued nuclear capability... fended off UN inspectors... murdered and oppressed his own people... possessed WMD's... harbored terrorists... supported terrorism... i can go on and on and on... the war on terror does NOT neccessarily mean the "war on people who had connections to 9/11"... it's TERRORISM IN GENERAL. anyone who supports terror in ANY form or fashion is who we are at war with... namely fundamentalist islam... we are still looking for bin laden.. we are still trying to give the PEOPLE of the middle east freedom and hope... why is this so hard to understand???? it's ridiculous....

as far as giving saudi arabia arms... Islamic nations are gripped by fear at the rise of this new class of religious fanatics... they on one hand require the support of this class of people, who have considerable support in their part of the world, and likewise need the west to support them in terms of money, trade, and protection. Their balancing act, trying to balance both sides, leads these nations frendly to the USA to openly support the US, while funding schools and communities of "radical muslims" who openly seek the overthrow of their governments, and the USA. In this way the governments of moderate islamic countries hope to plaicate the islamic fanatics... This has lead to these forces becoming very strong, and enjoying vast and powerful support among the people in the middle east.Islamic fanaticism is ingraned into the culture now... and the battle against it will not be short, easy, or without cost... but it is necessary, as these people see it as their religious duty to eliminate the Western heracy, to return to their former glory.

Wow.... did you hear when Bush said that Iraq has no ties to 9/11?!
Genius I say.
The UN wanted us to do their bidding in ousting Saddam. We did that now WE are left with the job of rebuilding a nation that were allowed to invade. What are your candidates going to do if they take the White House? Invade Pakistan? Cut and run and let Iraq become another terrorist rogue nation?

I personally think that the middle east is full of terrorists everywhere. I'm sure Mr. Hussein was harboring some of these terrorists.

This is absolutely true.

Also take note that Guiliani has made over $9 million on his post-9/11 speeches. We are being robbed, lied to, and the outrage continues.

Write letters to your congressmen and representatives. These people are so frightened of losing support that many listen to their constituents. (you!)

80% of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, and we just gave them $50 billion in arms.

We can be upset all we want...but we need to take action.
