I'm going to visit family for a large chunk of tomorrow. I am also painting my kitchen Sunday, with help from my sister.
I have to work on Labor Day though. But I can certainly deal with that. It's just another day, in my eyes.

I'm babysitting the grand kids, cooking for the family, shopping for the week, cleaning the house, painting the lawn furniture, hoping I have time to wash the windows and do the laundry.
A weekend like any other weekend.
These are the times I really miss being a young person with far fewer responsibilities. Really enjoy yourselves now, it won't last forever.

Oops, forgot about college football.
I'm going sailing tomorrow, Sunday a cookout with my tree hugging, bleeding heart liberal friends Crazy Bear, Sunshine, Faith, Hope and Charity, we're gonna roast tofu on the grill (it's marinading now), Monday I'm gonna watch the John Wayne marathon all day long.

Just got off work 2 hours early. I have a great boss. I am going to buy a new washer and dryer. Head to the mountains for a cook-out with friends and family. And bask in the joy that is life.

I haven't forgotten:
I've got steaks waiting in my favorite Whiskey Marinade
(That would be a cup and a half of Jack, a cup and a half of apple cider and montreal steak seasoning, if you were curious).
The grill is ready to be fired up. The wood chips are soaking
I've got snack foods ready and have already mapped out my games in TV Guide and most importantly,
I've got kids going to play at the neighbor's house.

Going on a 17 mile canoe expedition; essentially to scope out islands and sandbars for camping, and save some GPS points for fishing.
Taking along plenty of cold beer, of course...

I'm going to have an "undermining the troops and destroying America" cookout with my liberal friends....j/k..I will drink beers and pass out next to the pool like I do every weekend.

I'm not sure, but I think I may have to work on Labor Day!:( Oh, well! I guess that for some people there's another reason why it's called Labor Day.LOL!
