Rich conservatives/Republicans mostly care about money, business and enriching themselves. Poor conservatives/Republicans believe everything their rich brethren tell them, even to their own detriment.
Last year's election showed that these poor dupes are starting to catch on to Bush and his rich pals, but they still believe that the Bush administration cares about terror and homeland security, when in reality he only cares about helping the 'haves, and the have-mores'.
Bush is doing more damage to the conservative/Republicans than to anybody else except, of course, the poor and the middle class.
Bush has polarized the government and the country to a standstill, yet the poor conservatives/Republicans continue to lap up his nonsense.
Why do they keep falling for the same old garbage?

This is a bunch of JUNK.
I'm not falling for anything. i think you need to start thinking for yourself instead of believing everything the liberals and media tell you.
The dems won in 06 not because they had any good ideas, but just because of anger at republicans. And i admit that the GOP was worthless for a few years, especially on domestic issues. however, the democrats want to grow the government bureaucracy, and they are much more power-hungry than the gop has ever been. The dems have not done diddly since getting into office. they sure haven't shown the big change in the govt that they promised

I am a poor Conservative/Republican, and I don't need anybody wealthier than myself to make up my mind for me! It already is.
I have been wealthy, and will be on the right track again, and when I am, it will be because my husband and I made it happen, not because we waited for the government to make it happen for us.
I am sure that one of those rich, care only about themselves, Republicans will give me a job and a paycheck out of their wealth...see that is how it works. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out!

Party politics, there are good and bad to both sides, what ever side of the fence a person is on we as Americans need to get off of a carbon based economy. Our time is running out fast for oil.

Why do you keep falling for the same liberal garbage? look at the leaders of the Democratic party, see any poor ones. Matter of fact some of the richest menbers of either party are found in the Democratic party.

You've got to be kidding me. Does Elvis talk to you? Do you see UFOs? Having a conservative fiscal ideology has nothing to do with being rich or poor and everything to do with an understanding of basic economics, which apparently they don't teach in school any more.
The minimum wage just went up, and already, EVERYTHING has gone up to compensate for it, making it even harder for someone earning minimum wage to pay for stuff. Why can't poor DEMOCRATS see that simple fact? Now which party is for the rich and not the poor?
Get a clue, man.

As long as the liberals teach their children to hate the repubs (and don't even try to say they don't cause I've seen it) then someone has to teach them the truth and even though the repubs aren't right all the time, they are right more than the democrats. I'm an Independent and I see both sides so I don't need some dumbass party to make my mind up for me.

I know my mom thinks she's rich and one of them. She is union worker in a blue collar job. Millions of tax payer's dollars given to her employer, huge profits for company, and a huge pay cut for her. She still believes. Ugh.

The conservative name has been hijacked.
Nothing is what it seems anymore.
We are ALL getting screwed, however, as long as have the Federal Reserve in place.

the same reason most Americans still following the same ole processes from the past whether its working til you die? racism, 50 different religions (catholics) Americans don't know that its okay to use there own brain that is what Bush is counting on is that most Americans will always be followers. Its a new day, its a new time and we are really smarter and have more resource but we don't use it we rely on a leader which is dumb.
