They tend to vote for Democrats too.

Any surprise?

If a candidate raises 40 -100 million dollars , won't that candidate owe their position to those who paid to put them there?

If so, what are average working class citizens suppose to do for leadership in their behalf?

here's the definition of "Liberal":
Liberalism refers to a broad array of related ideas and theories of government that advocate individual liberty.[1] Liberalism has its roots in the Western Age of Enlightenment.
Broadly speaking, liberalism emphasizes individual rights and equality of opportunity. A liberal society is characterized by freedom of thought for individuals, limitations on power, the rule of law, the free exchange of ideas, a market economy, free private enterprise, and a transparent system of government in which the rights of all citizens are protected.[2] In the 21st century, this usually means liberal democracy with open and fair elections, where all citizens have equal rights by law

We see lots of freeway car chase by the police, and the tricky part is how to get away from the monitor above rather than the cops behind you. We can easily dump cops behind when going 220mile, but the choppers above will report your position and get the cops ready for your coming. Is there any way we can dump both of them behind?

I saw the ABC debate this morning and I a very GWB impression - even though he was trying NOT to be like him. I could be wrong, I still got this impression with his political idelogy and his strong religious beliefs. He didn't speak well either. Do voters, Republicans, and people in general like this? If I am wrong, describe how he's different.

I've intentionally asked some pretty (I thought) funny questions on here. Some of you guys get really "lowdown" on the answers while most of you get the joke.
Seriously, America. Our elected officials laugh at us, shouldn't we laugh at them?

Humm
God promised the Israelis land if they avoided war and strife. Which they have not.
So.
Did God promise any other group of people certain parcels of land?

And if the land the Isralis occupy today is the so-called "promised land", and if it is TRULY theirs, why did God have to PROMISE them land in the first place?
and why did the UN have to become involved?

(and please don't give me some story that God used the UN as a 'vehicle' to impose His Will....please don't....because it just won't fly.)

Hundred years ago, if you were drunk, mouthed off to an LEO, and maybe threw a punch, you would get knocked over the head, tossed in jail overnight, and fined $20.

Do that today and it's a felony, you lose many rights, including forfeiting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and could spend many months in jail or prison.

And this is not the only example, there are Three Strikes laws and other crap like that.

Are we going overboard with our criminal punishments? Just had enough so it's "lock em up and throw away the key?"

I have heard Bush say noting else in 7 years, then that there are enemies lurking everywhere to cut US throats. The only enmies we seem to have so far are US citiznes, who kill, maim and murder every year each other with oversized cars, guns, trucks, bridges and to much food.

Environmentalists who are Liberals, care more for a tree, and plants, than a growing cell from a woman's womb. Why is that? Why is it okay to let a growing human-being die, but preserve a tree? Do Liberals need that much shade from the SON? (sun)?
