The anthrax was U.S. military weapons grade produced in a U.S. military lab. Very few people had access to it. If an amateur would have done this, he would likely be dead from handling the anthrax. It is interesting that this investigation appears to have just been dropped since it is assumed this would be a terrorist within the U.S having killed or attempted to kill many people. His targets were also interesting. I think there should be a congressional hearing about this subject.
The U.S. Postal Service has not dropped this and has filed a lawsuit against the government. I am sure it will fall by the wayside as many of these lawsuits have due to it involving classified information.

Because it was a hoax created by Dubya to terrify Americans simply and to force Congress to approve Patriotic Act to invade our civil rights, civil liberalities and spy on American citizens, exactly the same way that Nixon did.
And then Bin-Laden kept showing up on TV every 15 minutes as the bogyman over and over again to boost public support for Bush's invasion of our rights, not to mention Iraq.
By the way, do you guys remember the so called threat levels going up and down every other day until 2004 elections and since those elections, we've never heard about Threat level going from red to orange to yellow? So what changed? Did Al-Qaeda wanted to attack us just before the elections but now that Bush is elected, Al-Qaeda doesn't hate us anymore!!! Dubya administration's lies, deception and manipulation of the facts to impose their Neo-Nazi policies on Americans is just despicable.
Don't you remember, those Antrax letters stopped showing up right after the Patriotic Act was passed.

Different name, same post.
They had WMDs. They used them on their own people. That's why the U.N. went in to inspect to see that they were dismantled.
Saddam lied and played games with them. They complained bitterly about his nonsense and threatened him with serious consequences...for a decade.
He bragged to his friends for a decade that he DID have WMDs and that's why Democrats and Republicans alike believed him, long before President Bush was even in office (knocking the rumor about "Bush's big lie" out the window).
He bragged about up to a few months before the actual second invasion to end the cease-fire (we weren't at peace, just a cease-fire).
We found casings he had hidden in the desert, and hundreds of pieces of evidence that he was seeking WMDs and had no interest, as he claimed publicly after the first Gulf War, in getting rid of any he had and ceasing his search for them.
If he hadn't been stopped, by his own admission, he would have found more any way he could.
A retired banker living in Switzerland spent 10 years helping Iraqi President Saddam Hussein hide millions of dollars via a bank account under the name of Satan, Britain's Sunday Times reported.
Elio Borradori, 75, funnelled millions of dollars in "commissions" and "consultancy fees" into companies controlled by Saddam's appointees, operating through Panama, the Bahamas and Switzerland, according to the report.
US officials estimate Saddam channelled between $A10 billion and $A18 billion into accounts around the world, which must now be tracked down.
The British government today estimated Saddam's riches could total as much as $A33 billion.
We don't find every criminal. We sure as heck got Saddam.
The anthraxer was an amateur with delusions of grandeur. He was nothing. He's gone. Scum under the rocks. Good riddance.

WMD existed in Iraq...they were used on the Kurds...to say they were not there is incorrect. I have no answer for the Anthrax situation.

I don't know about the Anthrax, but I have a theory about where Saddamn hid his "hundreds of tons" of Botulinum toxin.
I think he sold it all to cosmetic surgeons in Beverly Hills to inject (as "botox") into rich American womens' faces .

Iraq did have WMDs, but they were moved to the Bekka Valley right before the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
There were proven trips between Iraqi military officials and Syrian officials right before the war started and there were proven military vehicle trips from Iraq to the Bekka Valley in Syria. The intelligence turned in by the CIA was truthful, but it was outdated information. Bush was telling the truth, but he changed his story because he was worrying about his popularity.
