I've intentionally asked some pretty (I thought) funny questions on here. Some of you guys get really "lowdown" on the answers while most of you get the joke.
Seriously, America. Our elected officials laugh at us, shouldn't we laugh at them?

The ones that are always serious here are what you call 'party-poopers'.

No one else wants to hang out with them so they have the time to impose themselves on the rest of us through the Internet.

If we lose the ability to laugh at ourselves, we become the boring, narrow minded, intolerant twits we're complaining about . That irony of ignorance produces the presumptuous, angry, insulting, 'low-down' responses.

Don't pay any attention to them. No one else is, that's why they're here.

Maybe most of these reactionaries that start the name calling and extreme jumps to conclusions are not taking it seriously enough. I mean, if all they base their political opinions on is talk radio or church instead of facts and science, they're not taking poltics truly seriously, so they just sling mud and refuse to listen, have no sense of humor and see everything as an attack.

Well...

I agree with you, but also keep in mind most people on here are pretty passionate about politics.. including myself.

Although, evidently, not many people on here can carry an argument.. and typically just spit out useless myth... but nonetheless.. very passionate.

In another time in history, yes politics is laughable. Today, however, people are dieing as a result of our politics and other culture's politics. There's not much humor in that.
