It is rarely the politicians who are making the policies anyway. They are only advocating the policies. There are some very intelligent people behind the scenes. And some politicians are very intelligent. Others are really not.

They haven't so far.

So far, they have demonstrated the intellect necessary to steal all of the people's gold (US currency no longer supported by the US gold reserve, which is supposed to be owned by the people, essentially we have had our money stolen and replaced with IOU's the government is under no obligation to repay), regulate people's incomes, steal their hard-earned labor and spend it on bogus projects,
line their pockets with campaign contributions, bribes, free vacations, keep a cushy government job, keep themselves in power using the publicity of a compliant media, and prevent legitimate elections from being held by stuffing ballot boxes, not counting votes, and having an electoral system that is not directly democratic.

They seem to be fairly intelligent, if grossly unethical and corrupt. They don't care about real world problems.

Even those who champion so called moral causes do it for the money that is to be had. Global warming may be real, but so is the money to be earned with a carbon tax. They have a military-industrial complex designed to steal trillions of dollars of taxpayer money on bogus wars against enemies which cannot threaten the United States, and do nothing about real human rights abuses in Darfur, China, and other places.

Hypocrites are what politicians are. Rich, powerful, intelligent, Machiavellian hypocrites.

Most politicians who have been successful are intelligent enough to surround themselves with people who are the best in their respective fields. The politicians are the ones who are driven with ambition, maybe to make change or to make a name for themselves. Therefore, sometimes politicians do not have their priorities straight.

Do a web search on Ron Paul. Wikipedia has some very good info on him and YouTube has many great video's with him speaking for himself.
He says we have to clean up our own backyard rather than trying to be the police of the world. Good advice.

lol Hell nooooo.. They live on crime, hate, and pain, Why you think we have em.

Besides, the last person who actualy had a good plan for keepn the peace was naild to a cross. (and just about everyone else who had a GOOD MORAL plan had been put to death in some way or another) Government needs its subjects scared to death in order to keep there concept of peace in there pocket. People who try and break the political band of false peace keepers seem to at some point... "disappear"

Why should they solve the worlds problems in the first place? Screw the world, fix our own problems. Let the UN fix the worlds problems. Without us or our money.

Killing isn't the 1st reaction this u . s . took. Iraq *back and back* violated the quit-fires and treaties they signed with us after the Gulf conflict. As to the U. S. minding it is very own employer, we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. i might like it if the the remainder of the international stop seeking to us for handouts or to handle undesirable situations, yet I heavily isn't protecting my breath.

oh shut up everyone. imagine if you had the job of making important political decisions, and everything you said had to make everyone happy? wouldn't be very easy would it? i dont like politicians, but its just unrealistic when people say 'rugh i hate them theyre crap, they do nothing for the world.' its a hard job, im guessing.
