How can I get involved in the local Government in my city? I would like to understand and follow along with my cities governmental proceedings. I live in a medium/large city in Florida. I would like to volunteer, but more so i would like to be involved in the actual government. How can i do that?

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and had no connections with Al Qaeda. No Weapons of Mass Destruction, either. Yet, the American Taxpayer has paid over $500 Billion and is still paying over $2 B a week. Couldn't this money have been better spent in fighting HIV, improving irrigation and raising the living standards of people in Africa and uplifting this Continent from the depths of despair?

At 11 p.m. two undercover detectives are driving through a commercial district in their city. There has been a rash of commercial breaking and enterings in this area with no leads or suspects. The two detectives are trying to "scare up" something to go on to solve the B&Es.
The two detectives notice a van that they would like to stop. The detectives can not come up with reasonable suspicion to stop the van. One of the detectives notices that the van has no working license plate light which is a valid traffic violation. The two detectives pull the van over and develop probable cause to search the vehicle when they notice office equipment in the back of the van that matches some items stolen two nights ago. They later arrest the driver and passenger. The two detectives have been assigned to property crimes for years and have not written a traffic ticket in years. The defense argues that this stop was made just so the detectives could search their clients van.

When I was younger, I had an xray done on my knee because at that time I did have pain in my knee. The doctor had told me that it was just growing pains, but sent me to have an xray done on it. I never had anything done to them surgically, and I have outgrow my knees even hurting the least bit. My summed question is, would this be an alarming issue to MEPS, or should I just explain it to them.

I think each and every person who is pro illegal should take in and support an illegal family. They would be soley responsible for all costs and the illegal family would live with the household,one big happy family. There would be no applying for welfare etc. and you'd also be held accountable if they did anything criminal.
We anti's wouldn't complain since they wouldn't be taking jobs and we wouldn't be paying for them. You'd have your illegals here,everyone's happy.
