This land was not taken from The Red Skins(native Americans)
through an honorable purchase but by force, bloodshed,
masacre & genocide... of The Evil ,atracious White Vampire
Immigrant Anglos & other savage viking Eropean tribes.
In my idea , no one has the right to own any land here because
"We are a bunch of..theives & pirates.." .
I confess that I am not honorable if "I own!"any land here .
Oh , yes ! They brought this weapon of religion & arrogantly
they believe that we all should "forgive & forget" what has been
done to dear natives of this land because their so called God
J....said so ! Aren't they smart aus(English pronounciation) !?
I beleive that this white dominated Gov. should compensate
all The native people of this land by Y not 1 million $ each ;then
I believe that the native people of this land should voluntarily
do humanitarian works with this mony but not through any $
from Gambling !
I believe that tThe native ....should not get jobs as jailors.

Yes, the US govt invaded and expelled native tribes by force.

And the tribes reached settlements in the form of treaties -- which the US repeatedly has violated.

Hasn't land been "taken" this same way throughout the history of the world; and didn't the Indian tribes "take" the land from other Indian tribes?
When the Spanish "conquered" the Aztecs and Incas, they made Americans look like Boy Scouts.
Have you studied the history of the waring tribes, and empires all over Europe.
Have most of the wars in world history not been about
acquiring lands, and water rights or precious resources?
Do you believe that those who created the great Empires, sat down with primitive people to negotiate a "fair price"?
Even the Bible describes these brutal acquisitions.
What do you hope to gain by nudging Americans into a giant guilt complex?
Isn't the idea of a "noble savage" a bit of a myth? ---They were no better nor any worse than the rest of us.

No, If we stated that to be true, then just about every country would have to state the same about their early inhabitants. I am part Cherokee and I feel that what happened to the native people in the beginning of settlement times was sad, and unfortunate but it happened and it is over with now. We are now a land where any culture can live and express themselves freely. We have the same rights. The truth is that not all Native Americans cherished the land. There were some that were lazy and lived as Gypsies wondering from one site to the other. We should honor them for their beginning and their place in our history. Just as we should honor other cultures.

This argument can be taken to every country in the world. People have been displaced since the beginning of time, before written history. There is no way we can make amends for past wrongs. The people that were wronged are not alive, and the people that committed these wrongs are not here. So if you are wanting to pay reparations then someone who did not do anything is going to pay someone who was not wronged. We can not make up for something that happened generations ago.

No. Most First Nation people did not have a concept of property and would be offended at the suggestion that the land was their property. Property was free, like the air.

You would do well, if you wish to espouse the cause of the First Nation, to avoid expressions that are patently offensive.

You would also do well to get evaluated for mental illness, because you come across as nutty as squirrel poop.

I'm not sure about the past but, today in the Midwest there are 100's of tribes. They are sovereign countries within the U.S. They answer to no one but to the bureau of Indian Affairs first and the Federal government second. Local and state laws do not apply.

While money is nice, and I could do A LOT with a million. I'll settle for:

a CONFESSION and FORMAL WRITTEN APOLOGY , from the WHITE HOUSE with special NOTATION to each and every RAPE, MURDER, RAISING OF A CAMP, INTENTIONAL INFECTION, AND POLICIES OF EXTERMINATION carried out BY and FOR the United States Government.

I'll be happy with just those little LEGAL documents.

None of the natives that were alive then are still around. Why should we pay them for being related to people that were opressed? If that's the case, my Irish ancestors were treated like dirt in England and when they first came to America...I want compensation for that.

I agree that what happened was wrong, but I wasnt there, I didnt do it and I cant afford to spend all my money in your casinos, so please dont hate me.

It sickens me that my ancestors did that to the Native Americans, sincerely. I spend alot of time in the western US and it begs you to stop and think about how it was handled and how they forced the Native Americans to change their lifestyle from one of living in harmony with nature to one of "heres your can of food, eat it."

I am sorry they did it, I am sorry it happened and I am sorry that I cant think of any way to fix what happened 100-200 yrs ago. Sincerely.

i agree with you 200 percent, this great land was took viciously,at all cost, many native Americans lost their lives trying to keep what was theirs.the ones that lived were herded like animals to areas that no one wanted, places that would not even grow grass for livestock.but one day WE will rise again!
