It's horrifying to watch but you just can't keep you eyes off it? And every time you think the worst is over, something even more horrible happens & you have to keep on watching.

And for theocons/conservatives it's even worse because they are either speechless or they have to come up with the most ridiculus explainations to try and save a guy who the voted for TWICE!

Theocons/conservatives, if you weren't such a bunch of p*icks i'd actually feel sorry for you.

So basically Bush & Co. have to answer to no one?

They can do whatever the hell they please, and Bush can just say no?

Is this REALLY what our government has become?

Why the politicians in this country keep saying that "we're the richest country on earth" ,"Number one" etc, when in fact the US is way behind when it comes to providing a DECENT minimum income, compared with many other highly industrialized countries in Europe, where the lowest--paid workers make more money than the same here in US !!??

Is a unified world order, where there are no countries, kingdoms and borders, like the one proposed by Rabindranath Tagore (a great Indian poet and novelist in the early 20th century), and also shown in the Star Trek Series, possible in the near future?
There would only be one central Earth government. No movement restrictions, discriminations, war, conflict, economic imbalances between global regions, as there is now. People would be free to move, live and work WHEREVER they wanted.
People currently referred to as Africans could stay in China, Europeans could work and live in the African continent, Indian farmers could cultivate crops in Argentina...In fact, then, they would not be known as Indians, or British or Americans..just Earth humans. Fascinating scenario, don't you think?

I am a Democrat, but have great respect for Arlen Specter (R) even though he's not from my state (would vote for him on character). Isn't it dangerous to allow a president (any president, D or R) to be allowed to manipulate the Constitution and the Congress and prevent real oversight. I certainly do not think that Bush is evil and the end is upon us, but i do think that if the US allows precident to be established on policy that infringes on the individual...the end of what America stands for is coming. Do you respect the Bill of Rights? Or do you just vote for your pocketbook?

Im starting College soon, and I was wondering about what classes would help for a job in Federal Law enforcement.
I was thinking about possibly a job in ICE (Immigrations and Customs Enforcement) or the FBI.
My thoughts are to double major in Criminal Justice and Computer Science at SUNY Brockport.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Especially from those actually in law enforcement jobs!

His testimony has been beyond amateur hour. My entire high school debate team could run circles around this guy, and we're not even that good. Wouldn't you agree that by definition, if you are loyal to Bush, you must be incompetent?

He was president 7 years ago, and he is still being attacked. Is it because you have to make bush look better? I think so. Guess what? "Dumbaya" will still go down as the Worst President in History....

Deal with it...

I've heard many of you talk a big talk but I know for a fact that most of the stuff that you talk about will never happen. Unless the right and the left come up with a compromise nothing will ever happen. You can all stop as many immigration bills as you can but just so you know about 4,500 new illegals come here every day. No side is going to completely win. You can't deport them all sorry but not only is that impossible but it isn't a favorable idea to most American. I hear all of you complain about illegal immigration every day but you rarely come up with a viable solution. So what do you say now" we'll just make sure illegals don't get jobs but getting tougher on the people that hire them " We'll I'm fine with that as long as we legalize the illegals that have jobs and speak English. Yes I know you all hate the part but let's be realistic I know for a fact that AT LEAST 1/2 of the country favoring giving them some sort of legalization ..Heck even some antis in private have told me that they favor giving them amnesty (just not to their extended families) Well why did the immigration bill fail? Because while a lot of Americans want legalization they differ on the details. Heck I agree with you on a few things, you'll get your walls, you'll get English as the official language of the US but frankly that's about as much as you'll get. So what do you think about the plan I proposed?
