His testimony has been beyond amateur hour. My entire high school debate team could run circles around this guy, and we're not even that good. Wouldn't you agree that by definition, if you are loyal to Bush, you must be incompetent?

The Bush administration has raised cronyism to a height not seen in decades. In many cases he has appointed people who have been actively hostile to the agency that they were assigned to lead.

That's the major point -- it really doesn't matter any more whether he has technically committed perjury.

His dissembling and avoidance of the truth is a blatant and direct violation of this ethical obligations as an attorney. And his actions clearly indicate that he is over his head as the manager of a national agency.

So, regardless of his possible perjury -- he should be removed from office.

But no, not everyone loyal to Bush is incompetent. Cheney and Rove, for example, are very competent -- just evil.

As someone said consider the man who appointed to the office. Gonzo is like watching Comedy Central.

In the Bush mind, blind loyalty is all it takes to qualify for any position. Its all about perpetuating the agenda, not doing the people's business.
