How can I get involved in the local Government in my city? I would like to understand and follow along with my cities governmental proceedings. I live in a medium/large city in Florida. I would like to volunteer, but more so i would like to be involved in the actual government. How can i do that?

i should *definitely not* try to help the most easily corrupted, quickest to sloth, place that's riddled with incompetents. It would be a USELESS WASTE OF TIME trying to make my city a better place to live by doing something constructive like HELP! I will definitely think about taking your advice about robbing a bank, because THATS what a sane person would do. wait i meant to say insane, thats what an INSANE person would do.
-Thanks for nothing.

Call the Mayor's office. They will tell you how. Go to open meetings of the city council and the School Board. Start volunteering for things. That is a great way to get involved and everyone needs volunteers! Good luck, and thanks for being an involved citizen!

Local government is the most easily corrupted, quickest to sloth, and riddled with incompitants.
If you think that helping people is good you should try to rob a bank and give the money to some inner-city kids. These kids are always looking for money or coke and if you gave them your bank robbery money they would probably think very fondly of you.
