like your feedback also; men and women, After 9/11 the USA decided go into the heart of the Arab-Muslim world, house to house, and make clear that we are ready to kill, and to die, to prevent our open society from being undermined by Muslim unity. There could have been other countries we hit. But we hit Saddam for one simple reason: because we could, and because he deserved it and because he was right in the heart of that world. And don't believe the nonsense that this had no effect. Every neighboring government - and 98 percent of terrorism is about what governments let happen - got the message. If you talk to U.S. soldiers in Iraq they will tell you this is what the war was about. Being part of an empire, which is what we are is about having balls and showing that we won't stand for it. Please tell me what you think?

Can someone describe the process if they have gone through it in the past.

Requirements, time frame, naturalization testing (resources to prepare)

Work opportunities with my company are abundant in Toronto understanding Canadian citizenship requirements would be a big huge advantage over other candidates from the states.

I brought a letter to our local post office with the correct amount of unused, mint condition first class stamps affixed to the envelope. The postal worker argued that because they were stamps from the 1920's through 1940's, they could no longer be used for current postage because their machines couldn't read them. I am a stamp collector, and have used my surplus stamps for postage for many decades.

I don't choose sides on politics and I don't want you to get snotty or anything in your answer because I love to hear different peoples stories.I'm just affraid that our next president will pull our troops! If he does then don't we forfit.and give up our countries pride.and if we just pull out and not forfit, then isn't america afraid that the war will come over here.we have soldiers for a reason.they are fighting to keep us safe.yet we want them home.look at 9/11.they werent afraid to do that.what makes u think they wont attack and invade over here.maybe they wont.there is still a chance that 9/11 was set up by the government.but you never know.im 13yrs old and could care less about politics and could possibly be dead before they attack us.but personally,im scared to death.

Do you think the US leadership understands the subtle distinction between fighting an insurgency versus fighting insurgents?

It may seem a trivial difference, but if it is unrecognized, the US is doomed to defeat in Iraq. Those who wish to not repeat history should (have) read "A Savage War of Peace" by Horne or any of Trinquier's commentaries on the French experience in Algeria.

G Bush and the new prince of England were at camp Davie and I swear Bush was wearing a Bomber Flight Jacket..... now the last time he wore a similar Jacket he was prancing around a carrier deck in front of a victory banner, that was I think 4 or 5 years ago , ...... Does this mean we are going to "Shock and Awe" another country ?

My grandmother was stopped in the grocery store the other day and questioned about what she had put under her shirt. She had not done a thing and opened her shirt to prove this. They were very rude to her in front of the entire store. She was extremly imbarrased, crying, etc.....
They have offered her a free gift card but she refused. She was very hurt and upset, and it still bothers her. She feels like a victim and is affraid to even go shop any more. She has hired a lawyer and I am wondering what legal actions if any she has? Thank you for any help.

Regardless of party lines or if they're even officially running, who would you like to see debate one another?

I'd like to see Mike Gravel debate Ron Paul. I think it'd be pretty funny because they'd be angry the whole time and they're both interesting candidates.

On a more serious note, I'd like to see Romney debate Hillary. I have a feeling it may eventually come down to those two come next year.

Thoughts?

A Divorcee and a Violent person should not be heading the Women and Childwelfare Portfolios. A Divrocee who set an eg to her own daughter to Divorce - proves that she has no family values and instigating a lot of divorces around the country which is not in the best of the benifits of the children of the broken marriages - cannot hold these portfolios.

I think its about time the Coasters and Southerners stop being president and let a true Midwesterner take the reigns. Obama is the only candidate out there representing Midwestern values..No one will vote for a NYer outside the coast..

Some Democrats especially in the media are acting like the war is now winnable. Now that things are starting to go better they are seeing a connection between the war in Iraq and Terrorism.

Sometimes those credits just seem impossible to achieve. Even with a few low grades you can end up on the Dean's list. Nothing is perfect, and a straight 4.0 student is rare.

Do you listen to those who cry, give up, and become the under achievers in life? Or do you tough it out and finish the job for a better life?

Like it or not, you can't turn the clock back. We are there, and a job must be done.

We the west, having been misled into the war [post 9/11 American intelligence] and having got rid of Saddam. Should now 'get the hell out of Dodge'. Let the country have its elections/civil war or whatever! We've had centuries to sort ourselves out! Are we going to stay there for 2 or 300 yrs!!!
Incidentally the British public didn't believe any of that WMD crap! Pity we live in an elected dictatorship! If we had been a democracy surely they would've polled us???
