What have we won?

I hate to say this, but I sincerely wonder if any good news coming out of Iraq and even the possibility of a victory for the United States is seen by democrats as good news or bad news.
It is certain that they have an investment in defeat - that and their failure to carry through with most of their campaign promises made in the November campaigns has got to be a tough pill to swallow.
It should be very interesting to watch them try to squirm and spin their way out of this should the United States show even more positive progress in Iraq as the months roll on.
Very interesting indeed.

Not Anti-American. That is BS. What are we winning? We aren't actually in combat. But policing a civil war that we helped create. Sorry you feed into the propaganda. Oh and I'm not a Democrat.

Winning - I thought we won 3 years ago? Isn't that what "mission accomplished" means?
The American people see a win as being able to bring our troops home and concentrate on tracking down those who attacked us in 2001. Please let us know when to expect this sort of "win".

I don't care if we are winning. There was no reason to be there in the first place. By the way, where do you see that we are winning - and go to a neutral source, not Faux News or a republican website...

Very simple. If it weren't for the Democrats threatening to pull out, the Iraqi's wouldn't have gotten it into gear. They will completely gloss over that the surge is working and that will not get any mention at all.
