Should the "Heartland" be backing Obama...?

I think its about time the Coasters and Southerners stop being president and let a true Midwesterner take the reigns. Obama is the only candidate out there representing Midwestern values..No one will vote for a NYer outside the coast..

Obama has my families vote already, and I think if people really want change and direction thats who they should go with. Plain and Simple.

I don't think Obama has the enough experience yet to be president. I also hope that people are not racist or sexist in their choice of president. Unfortunately, many African Americans will vote for him just because he is black (though he's 'whiter' than some whites I know). I urge everyone to look beyond race and gender and give careful thought to the need for strong, well-informed leadership. Obama himself may be well intentioned, but he is so lacking in experience (he's a freshman senator!) that he will have to rely heavily on 'advisors.' We've seen how well Americans have been served by Bush's advisors, Karl Rove, etc.

Remember, we don't get to vote on the people behind the president. That's why we need a president who doesn't need to rely heavily on other people's advice.

Racism is racism, whether it's white on black, or black on white.

Obama has socialist values. For one thing, he is big on gun control. Just how do you think the rural folk of "the Heartland" would view things if they had to turn in or register their shotguns and deer rifles?

The best of America values freedom, and Obama is not for freedom.

I live in the heartland and I dont support Obama. He is pro-illegal and for gun control. Just two reasons I wont back him.
