Is there any government agency worse than the EPA except for maybe the IRS? This is a popular, but destructive agency that is raising gas prices to ridiculous levels. When will we shut down the Greens favorite bureaucracy, allowing the price of gas to finally return to market levels for the first time in 35 years (gas prices skyrocked about 35 years ago, which was when the EPA was founded, so the EPA is causing gas prices to go up).

The whole argument makes no sense in my eyes , having studied history I have to say - to compare the crusades to today's world is not only ignorant but downright dumb . The Crusades were about power , wealth and land which was eventually turned into a Holy war to get more to join the ranks and was started by the Pope because the Christian army was no match for the Persians and they needed more men . Today Muslim fighters don't have land , a Kingdom or a military of equal or greater force against there enemies . They resort to methods the Muslims at the times of the Crusades would have never even thought about and most likely would have been killed if suggested the methods people are using today in Iraq . The truth about Iraq is simple - for the US to win they must increase there military force - anything less is a waste of time and if that is not going to happen , we should leave within the next hour . I say increase military force because this is what religious fighters respect , its not just to kill people because the simple truth is - Iraqis have always feared and respected powerful armies , they do not respect armies that cow tow to the enemy the way the US is doing now . The point is the US can win but sadly doesn't have the will to win .

The state is Washington. Yes, in the will there was a percentage amount given to each person named in the will. It states in documents that this trust should sustain the family and that the trustee should be taking care that this is how it is being handled and cared for. And also that the trustee is bound to do this rather than spend it like they are. It also says that there may be distributions to family members and that there is also emergent funds available. found out years later about there also being 2-4 trusts that are part of or came out of the same monies/properties. 1 or 2 under my husbands mothers name and 1-2 under her fathers name. (one being a living trust) Am I satisfactory answering your questions?

i don't know about the rest of you, but the recent 'news' stories referring to her CLEAVAGE are simply juvenile and ridiculous on the part of those who have made this non-issue a news item. today i was thinking i would love for her to just stand up in front of the country, bare her breasts and declare that 'yes, in fact i am a woman, now could we move on please?' what do you think?

From the L.A. Times...

July 29, 2007

John Walker Lindh broke the law. But 'the American Taliban' wasn't a terrorist, and he deserves clemency.

The president's power to grant clemency -- in the form of either a pardon or a commutation -- is much maligned and occasionally abused, as was the case when President Bush used it to keep his colleague, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, from facing even a day in prison for lying and obstructing justice. But the power has its appropriate uses as well, and the case of John Walker Lindh calls out for it.

Can you believe this nonsense? Comparing a traitor and terrorist to the great patriot Scooter Libby? What are they smoking?!

I have a problem with my husband (and his brother and his uncle) spending my kids inheritance. The trust is set up to sustain the family and these people are just spending every cent they can and selling the properties like crazy. I am afraid that by the time my children reach college age that it will all be gone. I know that is not how it was intended to be and I also have the documentation that states it as so. I also have a few issues of my name getting signed to documents. If there is anyone that is in the legal profession and is willing to give me some direction on where to go or who to call I would greatly appreciate it. His family is well know around here so it is hard to find someone that is NOT affiliated with them in one form or another. I would like to thank you in advance for any assistance in this matter. Thank you.

the family of ron goldman are getting all rights to o.j.'s book. i think that is completely uncalled for. this family is getting rich of there 40 some odd year old son who was supposedly killed by o.j. Simpson. yet Simpson was acquitted of all charges so why would another judge go and reward this family 33.5 million. they took o.j.'s hiesman trophy for Pete's sake how low can they get. when in all actuality it was probably ron goldmans family that planned all this out because they figured o.j. would have motive so they could pin it on him. this family went by the old addage money solves all problems because they are living off a dead guy who was probably sickly in the first place after all he did hook up with an atheltes ex-wife.

and how much safer would Americans (and the world) be if Bush & Cheney would have invested all this wasted war money into protecting the Security and Boarders of the U.S. and investing in high technology to monitor Terrorism World Wide?

Oh...and if you want to argue that the invasion of Iraq was not illegal then read this...

The United Nations charter has a provision which was agreed to by the United States formulated by the United States in fact, after World War II. It says that from now on, no nation can use armed force without the permission of the U.N. Security Council. They can use force in connection with self-defense, but a country can't use force in anticipation of self-defense. Regarding Iraq, the last Security Council resolution essentially said, “Look, send the weapons inspectors out to Iraq, have them come back and tell us what they've found -- then we'll figure it out from there.” The U.S. was impatient, and decided to invade Iraq -- which was all pre-arranged of course. So, the United States went to war, in violation of the charter. Making the war in Iraq an “illegal” war. Whether congress agreed to it or not.
