I have a problem with my husband (and his brother and his uncle) spending my kids inheritance. The trust is set up to sustain the family and these people are just spending every cent they can and selling the properties like crazy. I am afraid that by the time my children reach college age that it will all be gone. I know that is not how it was intended to be and I also have the documentation that states it as so. I also have a few issues of my name getting signed to documents. If there is anyone that is in the legal profession and is willing to give me some direction on where to go or who to call I would greatly appreciate it. His family is well know around here so it is hard to find someone that is NOT affiliated with them in one form or another. I would like to thank you in advance for any assistance in this matter. Thank you.

It's not a matter of just anyone being able to take the case.

Attorneys are licensed by state, so it would have to be an attorney who is local to wherever you are.

Why are you calling it "your kids inheritance." In the grandmother's will, was there anything SPECIFICALLY left to the grandchildren? If not, it is their's to spend any way they want! You can only hope they die soon enough for your kids to inherit something.

In the two posts you've made, you first talk about a will and now about a trust. It makes a big difference! In a will there is an executor and in a trust there is a trustee. Either way you have to know who is in charge of distributing the money per the decedent's instructions.

You need to give the state of residence of your ex also. Laws are different in each state.
