Okay, so the other day I was driving to work and I saw a silver car behind me, but I didn't see any lights on top of the car, so I slowed down just to be safe. I put my cruise control on and when I started to turn down the street in big letters on the side of the car said "State Trooper" so I felt relieved. I got to work and all but when I told a co-worker of mine that I coped followed me on the way and she told me this

"well, it doesn't matter because they aren't allowed to clock you since you were in front of them" She said something about they don't have a accurate reading on the speed.

I live in the State of North Carolina, I looked this up and haven't found anything. So is this true? Or is she trying to get me a ticket? Help me out please! Thank you!

I am a dog owner and would never fight my dog. Its so typical of most people to know about whats going on but never wants to do anything until a big name does something and then we want to declare War on it like the War on Drugs or War on terror. The media and people has been going on as if he is a modern day Charles,Jeffrey or Hannibal. These are animals not humans and has been going on for ages. White and Black people fight dogs so its not a race issue but could be.

I am not protecting dog fighters But
I have been to a few dog fights years ago and these dogs nature was to fight it seemed like they liked it. I'm sure they were trained that way but When the dogs start fighting one dog isnt trying to run they both Want to fight each other. If they were in the wild they would fight each other.
Id like to know peoples opinions about dogfighting And I dont think Vick Should take all the blame for this industry

I read somewhere that America is 8 trillion dollars in debt. How is that? How do we pay that off and rebalance it? How are we still considered such a rich country if so many people and the country in debt? Are stock market crashes caused because the goverment uses that money to pay off? I just don't understand at all. Thanks.

What would happen to the American Arabs if a Arab Terrorist Group Blew up a nuke in lets say New York?

These are Korean chistians who didn't do anything wrong. They are getting killed by the Taliban in Afghanistan. A Korean pastor was already killed by the Taliban and they have several Korean females hostages too.
If they ever landed in the U.S. might they start doing the same here too?

Should our governement legalize the most popular drug ever?
Only honest opinions, please no rhetorical answers with information that has never been proven by ANY respectable medical association. Every year, hundreds of millions of tax-payer's dollars goes into arresting and trying people in marijuana-related offenses, while real criminals are out committing crimes. Also, marijuana is an excellent cash crop which could produce great revenue for investors. Every year tobbacco and alcohol kill hundereds of thousands. Marijuana? 0... I can't understand why anyone would criminalize marijuana while drunks kill innocent people in car accidents every day. In fact, 700,000 U.S. citizens are arrested every year on marijuana related charges, when policemen could be doing something legitimate. You decide....

the robber shoots and kills that customer who later it's found out was a police officier who was off duty. Do you think that the robber should be charged for murdering a cop "which is more suvere punishment" or charged as though he was a civilian. I know murder is murder and yes they should be punished harshly. My point is the cop was off duty, the robber didn't know he was shooting a cop and maybe if the cop was in uniform the robber may have serrendered and things would have turned out differently. Do you feel that the robber should be charged with killing a civilian or cop? Please keep in mind that states do come down harder on people who knowingly kill cops. What do you think?

It doesnt make alot of sense that people want to bring the troops home. I understand that people dont like the Idea of all those people being killed and niether do I but they went to help win the war.Also if we bring the troops back to America all that is going to do is tell Iraq and all the other places that they have won!!!!!!!!!! I just watched the add for John Eaves campaign for governor and I have to say I was disapointed.

He intends to impose his religion is public schools.

His website has a values sections where he says, "Eaves will institute voluntary, student led prayer, as well as support a curriculum that includes Bible literacy classes and the teaching of values and character in the classroom "

Am I the only one who is out raged by this?

This is America and it makes me sick to think of religion being forced on children.

I have been a stay at home mom and full time student for the past 2 years. I got a summer job while out of school for the summer and plan on leaving once school begins again in Sept. My hubby is currently active duty military(past 2 years) and he is stationed in Philly but we live in New Jersey. Our home of record remains in NorthCarolina, we still have NC Drivers Licenses and our vehicles remain registered in NC. I recieved a notice via certified mail today saying that I am being sued for a JCPenny CC from 2004. In NC the SOL on open accounts is 3yrs but in NJ the SOL is 6 years. Which applys to my situation? Any Advice?Thank you for your time.
