My sentiments exactly. I have said this before on here and got major criticism. I have also said that if we pull out there are much worse people that Saddam (such as Muqtada Al Sadr) would take over that country overnight and kill everyone and every thing that stood is their way of total domination of that country. Also it would show terrorists that we will pull out of a fight if the fighting gets bad enough thus promoting more attacks on our own soil. I would much rather a war be fought abroad than on our own soil. And as it stands right now, we arent really fighting Iraqis anymore, but rather, Iraq is the battleground for all other countries that oppose the US to get their hand involved and take a shot at us. So, pulling out would just bring the fight to our country in my opinion.

Iraq war is not a winnable war . Its a lobbyist war by all means and the only people who gain from such war are the lobbyist. Most of those who support the war are either lobbyist or fools. Why should an American be killed in far a way country for un winnable war. It will take years to get out of Iraq its up to the Israeli lobby and their friends who are working hard on Iran war next.

My generation had VietNam. I was never there but did have 3 cousins there and one that was wounded was in a local naval hosp and would bring 2 of his buddies to my parents home. I heard plenty then.
In 2000 I met a Vietnames woman. She grew up in it and told me more. Her brother in law was a Major in the ARVN, he has told me lots more. They support the War on Terror not Sen Kerry or any other "Cut and Run" type.
They lived the aftermath, the rapes, the murders, the prison, the people that just disappeared.

That's the long version of "those who fail to know history are doomed to repeat it"

Funny how in one of his taped messages Osama mentioned our lack of will as in VietNam. They are counting on that.

Do some reseach on Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap. See what he credited the win in VietNam to. Osama has.

Why are you confused ? your thinking seems crystal clear to me. There`s a lot of baby-boom protesters who think you can sit down at a bargaining table with terrorists. I would at least like to see them try. Maybe they would sing a different tune if some jihadist, with a stiffy for liberals, blew up a room full.

no baby they didn't go help win the war. they invaded and destroyed a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and now they are trying to rebuild it while terrorists are coming in and creating a civil war while having the luxury of having free target practice at our soldiers!!!!!!

explain to me exactly what winning is in Iraq and then i might consider your premise!!!!!
