Of course, I'd be slapping myself. But I'm sick of reading libs this and cons this. Or worse, neo cons. Don't people realize labels solve nothing?

I believe that in 2003, instead of Iraq being invaded, real terrorist sponsoring countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Pakistan should have been invaded. We should have let Saddam stay in power and we should have funded him to help raise a real army so he could invade Iran for us so we didn't have to reinstate the draft in the US. Saddam hated Iran ten times more than he hated the US and he would have invaded Iran once he heard they were seeking nuclear power. Saddam, no matter how hard he went on his people, was a useful ally to the US and we should have never even have invaded Iraq in 1990 because he would have still been our ally and he would have still had a real army. I think Bush should cut all ties to the totaltarian government of Saudi Arabia, but he makes way too much money to cut the ties.

I mean, in 2007, what is the point of the Tories?

A (still) small bunch of white males going on about the way things used to be and marginal issues such as grammar schools. Can you imagine this lot being a credible government again?

I'm sure they are salivating at the possibility.

I wonder what they will use as justification?

Maybe there will be another attack on US soil. Another 'Pearl Harbot' or '9/11'.

It would be very convenient - and a boon for this administration. People would forget all about the mess in Iraq once they saw how badly attacking iran would turn out to be.

Yahoo quote: "The supreme reality of our time is the vulnerability of this planet."

Actual quote: "The supreme reality of our time is our indivisibility as children of God and our common vulnerability on this planet."

Pathetic, isn't it?

NASA shaken by sabotage, drinking claims

By MARCIA DUNN, AP Aerospace Writer
Fri Jul 27, 4:25 AM ET

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - America's space agency was shaken Thursday by two startling and unrelated reports: One involved claims that astronauts were drunk before flying. The other was news from NASA itself that a worker had sabotaged a computer set for delivery to the international space station.

It was just another jolt for an operation that has had a rocky year from the start, beginning with the arrest of an astronaut accused of attacking a rival in a love triangle.

"It's going to shake up the world, I'll tell you that," retired NASA executive Seymour Himmel said of the latest news. "There will be congressional hearings that you will not be able to avoid."

Why couldn't Tillman be left where he was? A hero that was killed in the line of duty. But NOOOOOOOO! The anti-military libs had to keep digging until he is nothing now but an idiot that got shot by one of his own men. I'll always remember him as the MAN that gave up everything to protect the country he LOVED but now for many people he'll be remembered as the fool who gave up the NFL to travel halfway around the world to get shot in the head by friendly fire. It doesn't make sense to me.

I do. I feel that Sensationalism and Politics should not be mixed at all, but, voters seem to be in favor of this. I think it lends to the lack of credibility of each candidate who goes "Hollywood".

They cite racism, xenophobia, and any other name that comes to mind, yet forget that THEY are lawbreakers. It is as though they are not accountable for their own actions, and everyone else is to blame for all of their misfortunes and illegal lifestyle. Aren't most Americans sick of this entitlement mentality?

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Liberals

2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.
