GMU is a public university, will we need every major religion represented on campus's now with religous edifices? Seems to me that seperation of church and state rulings should supersede such an act!

Almost every public university has a "Campus Christian Center"

I think every religion should be represented. If they are building footbaths for Muslims, then there should be chapels for Christian faiths as well. And what's all this about separation of church and state? I guess it doesn't apply to them.

Probably should provide a link to the article.
if they want them for their own center, yes it is right thing to do, as long as every other religion has the same opportunity for the money used as they do.
If they want them at the entrance to every class room, and no one is allowed to use them but muslims, no it is not.

The school is already a recruiting ground for Militant Islam in the US.

It needs it's funding pulled. The fact that this was even DEBATED shows that the school's board of trustees is dangerously misguided, and more interested in supporting Islam than in providing any kind of education.

Are foot baths a religious symbol? I missed that theology class, from what I understand this is a hygene issue, not a religious one, just because Muslims requested the baths doesn't mean that non-muslims cannot use them.

Obviously having rational, fairness and brains aren't the University's strong points.

Should we pull out the sinks because Christians asked for them?

This is fine for liberals. Just as long as they don't build baptism pools for Christians, right hypocritical libs???

Just one more step towards securing the Islamic state. There will be no thanks for this effort, just more demands and more anger from the Muslim community.

We must learn we can and will never appease these monsters....
