He is definitely not afraid to be ridiculed and is doing a great service that most are too frightened to do! I don't imagine that he has grand ideas for himself, only for his state and his country. But I'd vote for a man of vision and one who supports and enforces the laws of my nation. He's got it going on!

Yes!! Gonzalez is a complete embarassment...total dishonesty is that little lapdog's policy. Sheriff Arpaio ROCKS!! I think he's the voice for the majority of Americans and he can back up the talk with positive action.

No. You need a lawyer to be the lead prosecutor for the US.

He is doing a fine job in Arizona as a local sheriff in a rural county.

What the country needs is more sheriffs to take lessons from Joe Arpaio.

I think he should run for President.

For Jeff above. Maricopa County is hardly rural since it encompasses all of the greater Phoenix metro area, including the surrounding cities and has about 2 million people now.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a person in a position of authority who is not concerned with political correctness? Do you think he would last in Washington's den of wolves? Probably not! The liberals and the spineless would go for his jugular ASAP.
