Clay, a resident of Texas, purchased a nearly new Cadillac from a seller from New York for the unusually low price of $4,000. The seller explained that he was in town to take delivery of another automobile that he had just inherited from his late father. The seller produced a certificate of title. After Clay had possession of the Cadillac for several months, he sold it to James for $3,800. After James had driven the car for two months, he was stopped by the police for a minor traffic violation. When the police routinely checked the VIN through their computer, it was discovered that the car had been stolen from Santiago in New York and that the certificate of title was forged. When Santiago learned that is car had been located, he claimed ownership.

My question to you...yes or no

1. Will Santiago be able to recover his Cadillac?

2. Will the certificate of title Clay obtained from the out-of-town seller entitle him to ownership?

3. Is Clay a good-faith purchaser?

Okay there's the question - here's the analysis:

If Bush the Inept was a better choice than Gore or Kerry, then one would have to imagine that someone less inept could beat someone far more divisive than Gore or Kerry ever imagined ever being. Basically, Hillary is the biggest silver platter that my admittantly struggling GOP could ever be given. I hate to be so optimistic when my party is screwing up so many things - but I do want to be the first to iterate the sound bite for all those who will NEVER vote for her...Right Tme - Wrong Woman. I want royalties on whoever sells the bumper sticker. I honestly would vote for a woman, or a minority of any sort for that matter...but certainly not her, and I am confident that over 1/2 of the USA will come to the same conclusion. The other side of the equation is that the GOP couldn't possibly put up anyone more incompetent than GWB, so, how sad for the DNC when they realize how out of touch they are once again. Don't forget to answer!

Earlier in the week I had a big, very important meeting planned with a prospective client. Key word is "planned". The problem was a huge car wreck occured and put traffic to a complete stop. It wasn't till an hour or so to move traffic again, and by that time, I had missed my meeting.

Sure, I called on my cell phone, but alas, it was no help. They were pinched for time and had to move on with their other business plans. I completely had a golden opportunity taken away from me. Not only that, I was counting on this commission to pay off my BMW.

My question is, I want to sue the people responsible for the accident, or the estates if they are dead, for the amount of commission I would have received. Clearly they are at fault, and my lawyer says I have a pretty good case actually. So, should I go forward with this lawsuit? I was so stressed and upset waiting in traffic, I think I might add a "pain and suffering" along with it as well.

I was talking to both of my grandfathers; the one that was a Vietnam combat veteran and draftee, and the other one who was a "hippie" war protestor(how their children got together to marry is a miracle lol lol). Anyway it seems from my discussions with them that during the Vietnam War soldiers came from the school dropouts and those who were unable to find employment. My grandfather who was drafted could not maintain himself in college because of an inability to concentrate and other emotional issues that plagued him. The soldiers today are different. They are the "cream of America's youth". They go to school, respect their parents, follow rules. They are not the dropouts who get in trouble, loiter, and make babies they can't and won't support. As a result the veterans of Vietnam were the throw aways of that era and the youth who serve today are those who will be our leaders in the future. One of them dying or seriously injured is much more traumatic to their communities.

Just one of those facts of life that you just accept....but not really fully logical, like the love a mother has for a child, etc.??

I ask this, because countries come and go and many countries have been our enemies over our history and eventually became our allies, or the other way around. Alliances for the most part seem to be a matter of convenience ...or what have you done for me lately type mentality---but in the case of Israel, its different...its like understood..that we love here and our love is unconditional----like the love between a mother a child.

Fallon agreed in writing to purchase a used truck from Sunset Motors with the understanding that a snowplow attachment be added. When Fallon attempted to take delivery of the truck, he found that the plow attachment had not been added. He refused to accept delivery. Sunset protested that the plow attachment was being shipped from Minnesota and that it wold be installed when it arrived. Sunset demanded that Fallon accept the truck.

My question yes or no

1. Can Fallon legally refuse to accept the truck?

2. Is this an example of condition precedent?

3. Is the contract enforceable?

i have a friend who is now 33, but when he was 16 was put in the hospital for a few day for mental issues he had with life.since then he has been in great mental health. he had tried to enlist in the national guard a few years back in the state he lives in (CT). the recruiter had told him because of this issues when he was a minor he is not able to enlist and it will be permintly attached to his social security number if he ever tries to enlist in other branches or in other states.he will be moving to Oklahoma in less then a week. i wanted to know how much of this is true. and in fact if it is true, is every state different. if you ask me its a load of crap when you have someone willing to give of themselves and be ready when called to service should our communities or our nation ever need him.i think if this happened when he was under the age of 17 it should be kept personal and no one but a family doctor should have access to (other then a judge). thanks for your help, E

So I took a look at his version of the crossbones and they look similar but they are not the same. His looks like a sketchy doodle type drawing....I guess it's the disconnected jaw bone or something....

He is asking me to take in down....and to stop selling it....

Does he have the right to tell me to do so?

I don't understand why people will make all these excuses why they would'nt vote for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
Just say "i'm a republican" or give an educated answer. Don't say because "he's an eratic Muslim" or "She's a lesbian" (which aren't true btw). What does that have to do with anything? That's just being prejudice and ignorant. I mean who cares if he was muslim? It's still god. Who cares if she was a lesbian?(still aren't true) They're still human beings who believe in helping the country & the world. I feel sorry for those people because they really don't know how stupid they sound. I personally think they would make great presidents, but that's just me.
