I would like to go and live in india. But i would like to know if there is any reason i why i would have to return to the uk. I am planning to set up a business there. And would like to know for security reasons, if i would have to leave or i am unable to stay for a long period of time.

So my family registered for a green card under my mom first, but it got rejected. We registered again under my dad, and we got a green card interview. We waited for 5 hours in the interview because apparently, the guy who reviewed our files got confused and reviewed my mom's files instead of my dad's. So now he said he'll re-review and send us a mail on getting our fingerprint. After that, he said we need to send it in to Nebraska for final review. Did we lose our chance to get it? Because I heard this means most likely being denied of getting our green cards. Please help!

After I was told I had a withheld adjudification for racing 2 months ago, I was also told I would face no penalties. I get a letter saying my licence has been revoked for 1 year, 2 months after my court date. Now I think this may be a clerical error. Or could this be how it is? Has anyone had to go through this or know anything about it? Deciding if I should get a lawyer or not.

I'm an old style democrat. I say that and people call me a republican as if I've always been one. Those of you who have left the democratic party know what I'm speaking about, as do those of you who are stunned to discover just how socialist some of our leaders are. If you are unclear about how that happened, look at the history of the socialist party, half-way down the page, where it says, "Split". That's when we started taking on socialists.

There is no aspect of socialism in it's modern form that our Founding Fathers would have approved of. Their focus was different in many ways, even in creating some of the social programs they did.

We can't allow this disintegration of the Democratic party to continue. Return to the party. Vote out the socialists. Make it the party of equal rights, free speech, and free expression that it was. They can stay in their own party rather than keeping ours.

Can a written declaration detailing perceived malfeasance of duty by a superior be considered grounds for claiming a hostile work environment by that superior? And does the fact that the declaration was written, as opposed to spoken, subject the employer to potential liability and the declarant to personal liability to the subject of the criticism?

We can go into any store and read where an item was manufactured on its packaging. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to get any online shops to tell me where items I want are produced. Some put the information on pages selling clothing, but nothing else, and some avoid putting anything on the page at all and won't say anything but that their products come from "a variety of sources" when you try to call or email them, if they respond at all. Is it illegal for them to omit country of origin, and if so, is there a way to report them if they refuse to divulge this information before purchase?

I have family in Lebanon. My husband said that he wasn't sure, but he thought that people in the Navy cannot go to Lebanon at this time unless on orders. I would like my husband to be able to go with me and his daughter over there during Christmas break. The other option was to go to Egypt, do they have restrictions there too?

Any suggestions since we would like to visit my family together? Does anyone know if there are any exceptions?

how is it, that I pay taxes as a citizen in the US, and those very steep, very handicapping taxes that have me struggling every week, go to pay for people that dont even reside here permanently? I cant get **** because i make 800 a month after taxes. 200 a week. So, a tank of gas, -50. Food for a week, -75. 75 bucks. a week. left. Guess i wont eat so i can pay rent. How does that work? Their own citizens are going hungry to pay them 1/4 of their checks while people who broke into this place get 150 a month for food, 200 for cash, and free rent?

It seems that Americans believe that THEY single-handedly won WW2!

My belief is that it was a joint effort and that the USA quickened the win!

Does the US version paint Great Britain as a plucky and resourceful holdout against Hitler, on the verge of falling? Russia portrayed as a bunch of hobos with flintlock rifles who got lucky because the Nazis didn’t have warm coats? The French presented as beret-wearing cheese-eaters taking German lessons?

Is it just a question of "National one-upmanship" with every Country believing that without their effort Hitler would have won?

I'm not anti-US, it's just I think that a more balanced view point of where the US has contributed in historical events should be taught!

National pride is a great thing, but don't believe every thing that you are taught!

In view of the disgraceful scenes outside the Court of Law when Burka clad 'people' were ranting and raving and waving placards saying 'BRITISH POLICE GO TO HELL' because those 'people' were there in support of four Muslims being jailed for offences including soliciting murder, and inciting racial hatred. I have stuck to 'people' as we have no idea of what was actually beneath those long black shrouds apart from pure EVIL ! If they were female, then they should really think about what they are doing. In England they are far better protected from the types of abuse that Muslim women have inflicted on their absolute right to FREEDOM from persecution by their male relatives. Even so, yesterday at the Old Bailey the father, uncle and some family friends of a 20 year old Kurdish woman Banaz Mahmod were found guilty of her murder. They gang-raped her, stamped on her to remove her sould and THEN strangled her ! Get rid of the Burka we need to see the faces of those who wish us ill.

I have no criminal record, never struck another person in my life. I'm 39 and am a compasionate, caring person. Last night I stopped in at the super market about 10 PM. As I stood in line, I noticed a very old homess man who had three items in his hand. One was a small package of cooked ribs. He placed the cooked ribs in his hand as he pulled some money from his pocket to count it. He then looked at his items again, looked disapointed and had to place the ribs back. (he did not have enough $)

Fast fowarding, I handed the man $20 asnd told him to go get his ribs. The man was so trhankful he had tears in his eyes. Literally. As i left the store, some idiot approached me and got in my face and started yelling at me for helping "all these bums out who ruin his neighborhood." As he screamed at me, he spat in my face from his yelling. He then told me to get the "F" out f his neighborhood. Before I could catch myself I popped him in the mouth. Now he is pressing charges. What should I do?
