So my family registered for a green card under my mom first, but it got rejected. We registered again under my dad, and we got a green card interview. We waited for 5 hours in the interview because apparently, the guy who reviewed our files got confused and reviewed my mom's files instead of my dad's. So now he said he'll re-review and send us a mail on getting our fingerprint. After that, he said we need to send it in to Nebraska for final review. Did we lose our chance to get it? Because I heard this means most likely being denied of getting our green cards. Please help!

Nebraska (or Texas) thing isn't an interview...I just mail the documents in for final review and result. I heard it is more competitive to get approval there. Is that true?

Be positive, there is still a chance and make good for the interview in Nebraska and present necessary documents to support your application. Prove that circumstances already changed after the previous application.
