Is Bill Gates a hypocrite?? For Republicans...?

I mean, he's a billionare right? But he strives on helping the less fortunate.. Since he has a lot of money and he lives easily... Does that make him a hypocrite?? All this talk about John Edward and others makes me wonder.. I'm curious..

Well, first of all, he's a democrat, like myself.

Second of all, why does charity make you a hypocrite just because you are successful? Do you realize the vast majority of money for charity comes from big business and wealthy people?

What I'm amazed at is that people would want to drive away all the job makers and wealth by encouraging and voting for socialist policies and higher taxes on the rich!

Would you stay here if people did that? Maybe that's what these people want. Drive them away? Weaken our economy? Is there a better reason?

Bill Gates isn't a politician and he doesn't spend exorbinant amounts of money on things while at the same time saying that poverty needs to be abolished in America.

He can afford to be a hypocrite anyway

What are you talking about? Bill Gates gives more toward fighting disease then most countries. (and any politician) And he will likely give all or almost all of is money toward these causes when he passes. I doubt you put in half the time he does helping others.

Mr Gates uses his own money to assist the poor and many other worthy causes.

It is a different story when you demand to use my families money to help with your pet causes while you live like a king
