They have oil money, let them hire soldiers of fortune to defend the state while they train more soldiers and let our soldiers come home and hey wouldn't that be a good idea for Europe also after all we have been there for more than 60 years and we simply can't afford it.

They did. WE are the mercenaries. Paid soldiers to do their work for them. And they're not even paying for it. WE are. Took out their dictator, found him hiding in a hole in the ground. Hung him. Last I heard the Iraqi prez said "we can take it from here" or words to that effect. It's about time.

The number of Soldiers of Fortune over there(private contractors, mercanaries) is equal to the number of soldiers we have over there at this time. That's where a huge chunk of the funds are going. It's not our soldiers that are doing all the bodyguard work over there--it's the damn contractors!! If the Dems pull our troops out, then I'd expect Bush to employ his Blackwater buddies to finish the job. The Iraqi parliamentary member's can't trust their own police forces to protect them. Just another sad story about the misguided policies of this Administration.

the iraq gov't is just a sham. the only time enough of them showed up to work to even vote on anything was the day they voted for the amount of their own salaries. most never came back. there is no oil money. usa won't allow it. keeping that oil off of the market and therefore supply down, prices up, exxon and saudi profits at record highs was the whole reason for the invvasion to begin with. the usa will soon back a sunni coup. the new saddam will be pro-saudi, pro-exxon. once in power usa will help him mop up shiite resistance and go home.

What do you think? Who else is fighting there? Sunnies and Shias are both Muslims and are fighting each other against what Prophet Mohammad has told them to do. He told them to convert people from other religions and increase the Muslim population but these fellows are fighting with each other and reducing their population.
