Biden would like to see Iraq divided into separate states for the different groups that make up Iraq. This way, there would be less conflict as each would have its own home.

The nation will remember that for seven years and counting there has not been a major terrorist attack on the nation since 9/11.
Bush kept us safe, far safer than any predicted. Committees can go on writing reports of this failure of this or that department, but they cannot hide the fact that Bush and his government has been competent enough to keep us safe.

The next President, like the next Congress, will continue the fight that Bush has begun, just as in all our great wars, the United States will win.

Democrats will fracture between the insanity of those who wish our defeat and the responsible wing of the party which also will do as Bush is doing but with greater modifications.

If so, what do you say to the following evidence otherwise?

Prof. Naomi Oreskes surveyed 928 scientific journal articles...of these, according to Oreskes, 75% agreed with the consensus view, 25% took no stand one way or the other, and none rejected the consensus.

http://www.norvig.com/oreskes.html

Dr. Lockwood: "The evidence, quite honestly, among the scientific community that recent warming is predominantly driven by greenhouse gases is actually overwhelming. There's more debate in the public arena. The impression is often given there is a big scientific debate going on between scientists but I'm afraid it's not, it's a major consensus of greenhouse gas and a few mavericks on the outside. But mavericks are good, scepticism is fine. Somebody said about the program you're talking about, 'Scepticism is fine falsification is a completely different thing'."

Falsification refers to 'The Great Global Warming Swindle'

How is our troops being in Iraq keeping terrorists from attacking us here? What's stopping people like Al-Qaida from saying "hey, forget Iraq, the Americans can have Iraq. Our real targets are in the USA itself, that's where we're going to fight"?

My great aunt loaned a relative 10k - 20+ years ago. He promised to pay it back at a set interest rate, which is all documented. He made one payment over that time and sent
multiple letters with various reasons for not being able to pay. He has done this before with other relatives and has gotten away with it because of them passing away and now
out of a matter of principle my great aunt would like to do something about this, I was just wondering if this would be a valid case and how would we go about trying to recover the
money? My aunt lives in Minnesota and the borrowee lives in Iowa. Not sure if anything can be done, but I just don't think it is fair that she gets take advantage of so I am trying to help. Thank you for your time, if there are any questions or any more information is needed, please contact me. Thank you.

Or if you say it's due to "natural cycles", do you mean by variations in the sun? I assume you must, because it's not due to volcanoes. If so, what do you say to the following?

Dr. Mike Lockwood: "What we've done is a very simple straightforward analysis. We haven't used models because a lot of the climate sceptics get very upset by models; they're very difficult to understand and sometimes they can behave in a slightly strange way. So we deliberately just kept it to a simple analysis of data which showed that since 1985 the Sun actually has been getting very, very slightly less bright. A very small effect, but it's in the wrong direction to help global warming, so that was one thing. And then the cosmic rays, having reached an all-time minimum, they've been recovering ever since."

We invaded Iraq on the premise of WMD.That proved false so now it changed to humanitarian reasons.Well,Mexico has a government that allows it's people to starve.Mexico has a faction we would call terrorists killing and robbing the poorest of the poor in an attempt to over throw their government by scare tactic recruitment.Is the difference the fact that the Mexican government already sells ALL of it's oil to America so we just look past the humanitarian abuses?

How this war is a failure. So....how is it you think the World's Best Millitary and the greatest troops ever are failures? Our media and Harry Reid think so. Our politicians are having a pajama party tonight because they think so. Here is some common sense before you answer...

War=Death
War=Destruction
War=Occupation (temporary and long term)
War=Civilian casualties.

Purhaps this war didn't have the proper PR work done for it is the only failure I see, what say ye?

Why, if you support a smoking ban, do you want to keep smokers from lighting up period. Why isn't an air filtration / exhaust system good enough?

For those that want to ban smoking in bars - why don't you stop going to bars that allow smoking? If you can't stand the smoke - stop going there.

I guess I'm just PO'd that there are less and less places where I can smoke. All because people have some weird need to ban things they don't like.
