He never paid it and now there is a warrant out for his arrest in TX but we dont plan on ever going back there anyway. Will his licence eventually be suspended if he does not pay the ticket? and if he does pay, will there still be the warrant for his arrest?

Arizona will suspend his license on bealf of Texas, it's called a Compact License Suspension. If he calls and pays what he owes plus any additional fees for failing to appear, the warrant will be pulled.

My uncle got a DUI in IL and he is from GA. He can not drive in IL now, until the case is ruled. He can drive in any other state. I really don't think that he will get his licence taken away...but if he is really freaking out about it...He should just go pay it! If he goes to pay it what will they do put him in Jail? NO! I know a lot of people that have had problems with the TX Cops!
Good Luck!

They just want the money send it to them and all will be well..

My licence was suspended for not paying a 47 dollar ticket in another state..
Tell him not to mess around with this any longer

Under federal mandate, each state can issue a warrant for his arrest and it can hinder his ability to renew his license. PAY IT!

they still will look for him. You should just pay the ticket because the longer you wait the worse its going to be when the law catches up for you. it will be bad.

Next time he gets stopped and when police runs his license for checks, it will show up and he will get arrested on the spot. He needs to settle this ASAP.
