You start getting paid right away. When I was in, we got paid once a month, but they switched to twice a month before I got out. Signing bonuses depend on the MOS you're getting into. If a particular job is understaffed, they'll offer larger bonuses to try and attract people to the job.

I joined the Army back in '89, so you may want to check with your recruiter just to be sure things haven't changed since then.

Good luck...it's a great experience.

ADD - If you need to pay bills while you're in training, you can have part of your paycheck direct deposited into a bank account, and allow someone else (a trusted family member) to access the funds and pay your bills for you.

PUNCTUATION: Learn it. use it.

You start earning pay the day you ship out to Basic Training. It can take 6-8 weeks before the first paycheck actually hits your account.

NO, not every one gets a bonus. there are many different factors and what one person gets today, somebody else will not get tomorrow. Bonuses are paid out at the end of training..Basic training and schooling. 28% taken off the top for taxes. Half up front, and the rest divided up in equal installments over the length of your term.

If you are doing Split Option(basic training the summer before your Senior year of HS and schooling after graduation) you will NOT be paid while you are not in uniform.

you will NOT be allowed to get a second job or even take college courses during schooling after Basic training. You must ask permission to do either of those things once you report to your first duty station.

Keep in mind that your food and lodging will be provided for you entirely, in addition to base pay and medical.

I am not sure if I understand your question - can you re-phrase it?
